Take notes guys. This is how a premium game on IOS should be done. 5/5 no questions.

Thought the artwork looked Adventure Time-esque... Turns out the artist, Thomas Wellmann, has worked on storyboards for a few Adventure Time episodes, so makes sense.

    specially in price!

i have great respect for devs like Tinytouchtales, they're not like others that speculate on hype/reputation and shoot 8/9 or 10 bucks for a simple "zombie shooter" (no making names ;))

great game, like its brothers CC & CT... wonderful trilogy!

Don’t think I know what I’m doing but still managed to win (or at least not lose) on my first try. Pretty fun game. Still think I like the original Card Crawl the best of their games, but all of them are great.

Love this game so far! One thing I have noticed is that you have to be careful when "evil" black cards are the ones the customer likes but does not require. The game doubles their value.. for example you play an evil -3, and the customer likes it, it's multiplied by 2 so you get -6. If it's value is still negative at the end of the turn it just gets worse even though they "like" it

When you win a game... is there an option to purchase upgrades or anything? Is there a progression in this game? Or is it just trying to beat the board like solitaire?

Regardless of the answer: I'm loving the style and the challenge. I Loved Card Crawl.

Wow these guys are pretty creative. It takes some bright minds to come up with all these games and brillliant ideas. Bravo devs! I mashed the buy button without even knowing what kind of game it was lol. I like it so far. I, too, am wondering if there are progression elements. Any ideas?

Wow. Thank you. It was driving me crazy why I'd suddenly see the black card score shoot up and insta fail the game.

After putting several hours into this game I'm finally winning the majority of games, but much trial and error was needed. I easily lost 10 games in a row before I started winning. Some of the mechanics like the above could be in the (almost too quick) tutorial and might alleviate some frustration.

Most importantly, there needs to be some kind of progression where you get to keep your earned gold on failed matches. Even if it's just cosmetic stuff it would be fun to have a drive to keep playing even when losing and not feel like time was wasted. All in all, great game that I'll continue to play for some time.

Is there a campaign or story mode which you can do to finish the game? Or is the game largely an endless battle one after another to try to reach some higher score?

    This game is extremely buggy.

    iPhone 7 Plus 10.2

When booting, if I tap immediately, the game crashes.

Achievements are not clearing despite achieving them.

Not as polished as card thief 7/10

Game has me hooked now that I got the premise down pat. A tad harder than Card Crawl (hard to compare to Card Thief).

No crashes or bugs here (iPhone 6S Plus, iOS 11 PB3). Another Tiny Touch Tails winner!

Really fun. Are there a static number of evil cards each deck? and of each value (1-3)? I wish there was a counter of evil cards - i've been screwed many a time when the last card of a deck or two were evil cards and went negative
:( Or sometimes Ill need a red card for the last customer so i'll save one and the last "red" turns out to be an evil card so i have no required, red card left. I guess it's all part of the strategy, but unless I remember or write down how many evils have come out it'll be hard to not lose to rng like that sometimes. any thoughts?

There's a counter. It's the three stars below each stack of cards.

    Hi guys,

thanks for posting the thread, looking through questions/feedback.

    1. If a cards preference color symbol is on the left or right, I assume the matching color card must be positioned on the corresponding side?
Yes, position of cards matter. Matching symbols can also be done after a card is place, by putting a new one in-between 2 placed ones.

    2. When a symbol is positioned at the bottom, does that mean any card of that color will give a bonus? Tutorial wasn't clear if it was the bottom position that granted that or it had to be that clover symbol.
Bottom position means the card will get points from any card of this color independent of where it's placed.

    3. If you position a matching color card on the right side of a card, a bonus is instantly applied. If you then position a bonus matching card between those 2 cards, which one(s) will get the new bonus applied?
To all cards that have matching symbols. The one that is placed and the one that is already on board for example.

    4. Any special mechanics to be aware of?
The "recipes" get bonus points as well. This is a hidden mechanic. If you place 2 red ones next to each other you got a pair. If the customer loves red the recipe bonus get's doubled.

For the ones who lose often: Be aware that there are 13 customers. 3 like red, 3 like blue, 3 like green, 3 like yellow, 1 likes black. This is always the same, their order and the loved ingredient are shuffled though. So you can be sure if you played 3 red customers there won't be any red coming up anymore. In addition to that, you can always use skip to push customers to the end of the line. This is helpful not only to avoid bad situations but also manage/know which customer colors are still upcoming.

The game is really small in general. We tried to add some progress with the potion collection where you can try to collect all potions, it's the little button top left in the main menu.

    Thanks for buying!!!

After reading all the tips and finding out about the Stars under the deck I eventually won a game! Yay!
I would add the bit about the Stars in the tutorial as that really helps to manage cards, especially the black ones!
I'm really enjoying it - it has that great balance of needing to get combos to chase high scores but also needing to manage your cards to avoid losing. Same with Card Crawl/Thief.
The Dev mentions it's a small game in general but I wouldn't change that at all! It's so easy to pick-up and play, like any classic card game!

I love this game, can't put it down!! Really more similar to Card Crawl than Card Thief, and I had preferred Card Crawl between those two.

No bugs here, iPhone 6S 9.3.5

I don't know if I'm too stupid, or if this is a bug: I cannot seem to clear the achievement "Create a yellow Duplex Potion (20 Points)" (I'm not sure about the wording, the game is not in English for me). I have already collected all 10/10 Duplex Potions in the collection (all today) and tried every duplex combination with yellow in it I can think of.

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

    Still: Awesome game!
