I've been beta-testing this game and it is both challenging and fun. I applied for the beta via their site link provided and was contacted the next day. @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);.entry{background-color:white!important}
I've been beta-testing this one, and have become completely obsessed with it. Fantastic game--fun, great-looking, really addictive.
I know you can use the boot to skip a customer, but honestly I think there needs to be some kind of spoiled card eliminator or restore card, because I keep getting bad luck draws where I start making a potion and all four of the cards below are black and I'm just screwed. Either that or a "peek at the card underneath" option. There has to be a way to counter shitty draws in my opinion. I have not been able to complete a single deck despite some decent scores, because at some point I just can't use the ingredients required and there is no way to tell what is underneath the top cards. So I think I have what I need, start the potion, and bam...black cards where I need that color. Maybe a wrong ingredient mistake could dock points instead of end the game? Or you could have a "pissed customer" bar similar to health in card crawl?
You can use the bonus to counter bad luck, or the recipes which also give you more points. Make sure to "discard" black cards when you can. Sometimes it's better to have a weak potion than to run into 3 black cards at once.
Finally decided to test this one out. How do you guys do it?? Every time you create a card game it is so addictive! Why oh why did I procrastinate this one? The game is so simple to learn on the surface but so deep in the strategy. If anyone has the chance to test this out do not hesitate! Another new favorite. You guys are quickly becoming one of my favorites when it comes to game releases/testing. I am loving your games! Keep them coming (along with new content for the others).
