Some of the dialog screens are shifted slightly off screen (on both phone and iPad), but they shouldn't cut off any buttons or text that you need. If they do, dialogs are draggable just in case .
Working on a universal build right now guys! Anybody have the game purchased and willing to test on an iPad? Shoot me an email at braingoodgames (at) gmail.com
Amazing game, well done! The only thing that took a while to sink in was the turn order, but after a while I understood what was when going on. I can play the game on my 12" ipad pro with no problems.
It's crisp and sharp. I was worried when I read all the demands for universal, but to my surprise, I found it perfectly sharp and playable on the large screen.
Thanks man! There's a universal update coming soon anyway. (Just as soon as Apple approves the test build!!) Glad it's playable for now anyway though!
Your game is great! Easily the best tactical game I've played this year. The gameplay is unique and deep. But at the same time it is so simple that new player can understand quickly and easily. Can you make the app name(iOS app) shorter, by the way? It will look better on the home screen if you shorten the game title.
In my opinion, Minos Strategos is tactically as deep as these best tactical/strategy games like Hoplite, Imbroglio, HyperRogue, 868-HACK, Auro and so on. Imbroglio and the other roguelike games I mentioned above were meant to chase score(For these games scoring system is an essential factor), but this game is not(because every single game is still challenging even without a scoring system), so you can enjoy it without caring about score. And, like Imbroglio, it has high replay value too. I also bought Militia, an another game by the same developer. I think it is a decent tactical game but I still prefer this one(Minos Strategos).
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. I'll look into what it takes to make the app have a shorter homepage name. Probably "Minos"
I play this game non stop. It's my game of the month so far. 5- Star review inbound. I bought Militia to support the dev and this is also an amazing game. Are there any updates planned for militia as well? While both games are absolutely playable and addicitve, the usability can still be improved. No show stoppers here, but I would love to have the archer in militia be more visible, have an option to switch off music but keep the sound fx and have a consistent pivot point for rotating the cards in minos. Just nitpicking. Both games are gems and should be in everyones collection of excellent strategy games.
Rumor: I am not sure if I can post here but the latest test build on my iPad Pro looks very very very promising.
