My almost brand-new iPod 4G is having an issue with battery percentage display. I got SB settings in Cydia and turned on battery % display, it was working fine until a few days ago, where the moment I unplug the iPod from the charger, the % would drop down to 95% or 96%, even though the moment I plug it back in it would say 100%. Does that mean it's having problems charging to 100% or something?
Sounds like it just needs calibrating. Charge it to 100% (or as near as possible) then use it until it runs all the way down and switches itself off. Leave it for an hour or so and charge again.
Calibrate it or turn off battery percentage. I turned it off on my 4th gen iPod because I noticed the battery dying quicker with it turned on.
