Anyone else find it quite odd for them to develop for IOS 5 before it's even announced? I just hope they don't mean ONLY IOS 5.
I think it is a smart move. While everyone else is making updates to support iOS 5, Mountain Sheep will be ahead of the game. Also, by iOS 5 they don't mean 5th gen devices. Other devices will support iOS 5 as well.
iOS 5 has been announced, and has been for a while. Apple actually made videos about iOS 5 and it's features. And I think it is in it's 7 th beta now.
so its its own game right not just an update? When I bought minigore I thought that all of the zombies would be inculded and then I read and saw that it had not come out yet. And whatever happened to challenge mode?
I couldn't be less excited about this game especially considering at one point this was suppose to be a part of the original mini gore game via an update which is obviously never going to happen now. So the developer decided they would get more money by cutting the game into pieces and selling them individually.
No, they are leaving Minigore as it is and moving on to higher end devices. Smart move in my opinion.
My point exactly, they couldn't get more than a few updates out, most of which were bug fixes before there were so many new generations of devices. After all the promises of updates for mini gore that never happened, I expect more of the same with this game. Look at all these updates they were promising and only delivered on a few. I think Mountain Sheep gave plenty of updates to Minigore. But that is just my opinion. Anyway, when you think about it, minigore is pretty much old school (although it is still awesome). Just making this an update would result in very few actual sales as many people have already bought minigore. But making it a new game, that is optimized for newer devices, will make new customers much more satisfied and will also give current owners of minigore something new to move on to and support the devs with.
You're right they gave plenty of updates but not enough new content for what they were promising. Like how they consider we are on episode 5 right now, yet we never got the new years episodes, the zombie episodes, the halloween episode, or the thanksgiving episode. That's just way too much undelivered content for me, conversely I am very happy with the job they are doing with updating Death Rally. The minigore name is just like a tainted salad for me now, I probably won't touch it unless it's covered in awesome sauce. Hey, we've all got our opinions and you're welcome to yours and I can see neither of us is changing theirs. Cheers.
Yeah I was kind of disappointed with the amount of actual content updates with Minigore compared to Death Rally, but DR has stopped receiving updates too, maybe their busy with this and Bike Baron.
Hmm well I have always been a minigore fan ever since they first announced it and I am actually pretty happy with my purchase. I put so much time into it and the somewhat constant updates always seemed to get me interested in it again. I'll get Minigore Zombies for sure if I see any Zombie greensheep in screenshots
I don't know why people are disappointed with the updates Minigore got. The current version is completely different and far superior to when it launched in '09. It makes sense for Mountain Sheep to make a new app as I personally don't see it to be lucrative to create constant updates to a game that is sold for $.99 and no longer holds a spot in the top 25. It also is good for the players as those with higher end devices recieve more content that would not be possible on lower end devices that would need to be supported in the old app.
I doubt this is coming this week. There has been 0 hype recently, and no updates from Mountain Sheep. Plus, they are still finishing up Bike Baron.
