A4E hands down. no offense to the mini gore dev crew, they've got a very stylish start to their game. but as it stands, I get tired of the game immediately, while me and my buddies play A4E any chance we get. I got sucked into playing it til about 2AM last night, and I've had it since launch.

while I am still quite excited about the updates to come, A4E really stole a lot of thunder from minigore, and I'm sure some sales as well. (for now)

I do too, but I must: TIMO!!! hehehe.
Ok, so ahhh, no. It's saying, "it's the best of the good games I've ever played". That's not the same thing.

Furthermore, the movie analogy does work, you're just twisting it.
You must keep in mind that A4E is "on sale". It's a $3 game. Minigore, a 99cent game, and in that category, is the best at that. And no, I haven't played it for quite a while, bc I want to keep it fresh for the update, and that's fine, just like Pocket God updates: you don't go playing it all day long every day, you just check out the new thang, go wow, and can't wait for the next one. Minigore has a bit more replayability imo, so even more value.

    TIMO!!!
Oh, and hey! What time is it on John's watch?!

Ha, I don't see the other dev here. Know why? They're just movin on brother. (watch me eat my words...)

I'm glad that's what you meant, however that's not what "run-of-the-mill" means.
I am not twisting your movie analogy, I am offering you a more accurate one.

I refer to a previous post by you in response to dominator246 :
"How can YOU compare a list $3 USD prepackaged game to an episodic adventure?".
Are you now saying A4E should be held to a higher standard due to it's full "non-sale" price being higher? I say it again, it is about what game the starter of this thread should get for 0.99 cents.

@TimoVihola: Hey guys, you already got my money, I'm on board. I'm sure you guys are working hard, and I'm looking forward to seeing what is added to the game. I wouldn't get frustrated that people think updates are only promises, their minds will change when the episodes come out. I never claimed that the developers of minigore are just sitting on their hands, but simply pointing out that for the $1 A4E has more to offer. You have enough of a following that when the updates come, more sales will generate through word of mouth alone.

I'm hoping the developer will note the interest in the game and open up a suggestions thread, so I'm hoping you're wrong and are hungry for words.

    I'm not defending minigore, but:

it has 2 weapons, a shotgun and a machine gun
    FOUR TYPES of enimies
they will include a snow map in a future update, but yes, untill then only one map.

My advice is get A4E now while on sale and get minigore later when you have more money.

yea, if you count the chicken gun is another weapon

are you kidding me, different size mean different kind of enemies?

way too easy for dev: let's create 100 kinds of monsters, I mean 100 size of same type/look of monsters. seriously.

yea, just keep talking and bullshiting that we don't even know when... look at pocket god they did promising release almost every month.

and look at minigore devs: they are count their $money without doing any real work yet (i mean do some shit instead).

Hey at least timo Is man enough to admit that a4e is a good game lol. But sone people absolutely love the go on forever modes and i'm sure that a request for a4e. It's true that you get more intent out of a4e Noe but I think minigore will be better in the end.

Also timo if this update takes any longer to be released is there any chance you'll be combining what wa supposed to be episode 3 and 4?

I have both. They're totally different styles of games. Honestly, if minigore had bluetooth multiplayer, objectives, missions, customizable characters, multiple weapons, unlockable achievement equipment, and 10 something different unique types of enemies, i'd say it's better. It has a better polish and feel, but it needs WAY more content. I have both.

if i had to pick just one, i'd pick A4E because it's got a lot more stuff to it. I hope that they take minigore and the graphics style and make a LOT of games with it. or at least a couple good ones.

you're very very close minded you know that? I like both games equally. A4e has more content but the graphics remind me to much of a bad flash game. Also you can't say that a shotgun isn't a weapon that's just retarted. I do like a4e weapon and character choice but the missions are so close to each other it gets as repetitive as minigore.

As for the different types of enemies there are 4 in minigore each with different characteristics similar to a4e bad guys. Your normal ones, fast ones with minimal health, even faster ones, and the big fat slow ones. A4e seems to have ripped some zombies off left 4 dead though (even the name is eerily similar)

I think minigore definitley has more polish but a4e more contnt. But both are balanced to the point where they become repetiitive around the same time.

And you're truly idiotic if you think mountain sheep hasn't been doing anything. You shouldn't write about what you don't know. Like how an update has been sitting at apple for over 3 weeks and the next one is already finished. I'm actually wondering if you have a brain or just missing the part of it that stops you from being a forum douche

sure, show me the big money - Mountain Sh*t
don't just gimme me a shitty gun for the release... and I want more.

I don't buy the LEGO square head funky stuff, so gimme me the real content...

I don't want to sit on the toliet to pay this pointless shooting game 3~4 hrs to beat 100k points & writing 1000 words survival guide like other did (yea I know keeping runing circle...) who is idiot again. ha you tell me.

Alive 4 Ever 4 sure. I can't believe that people even think Minigore is close to A4E, its not even a complete game yet.

the whole thing is sorta rediculous. we're talking about a dollar. it's like having a 2 hour debate on what's better: a snickers bar or a milky way

i mean if you love the damn milky way so much i'd hate to see your reaction to say... Army of Two, Fallout 3 or GTA 4. it would probably make your head explode

@TouchGene dude, I'm glad I'm not married to YOU. I can't keep up with your unsound, circular arguments

@MrDark: my friend, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed today?? You're being brutal!

And if one more person makes the petty complaint that Minigore is not a "complete" game, or event that the dev isn't working and causing the delay instead of Apple, I'm gonna send a crate full of Furries UPS, COD :p

Lastly, as I've argued before, Minigore has three weapons. Last time I checked, having a special ability activated by an event that causes an action to kill ones enemy constitutes as a "weapon".

    i would say Minigore.

    1. It's something ordinary, one of a kind.
    2. The graphics are awesome.
    3. The sound is very good.
    4. The characters are are funny and nice looking as well.

Alive4-ever is for me, a game that is like every other games... I have already played something like that.
Although Alive 4-ever has more game content which is awesome, but in some extent, too much, maybe. ATLEAST for me, because I like simplicity. The game has good graphics and sound too. The controls are better on Minigore though.

Hopefully we will get much more content to minigore as well. Most of the sneaks I've seen so far looks very promising.

Also, relax people, you get both of the games for a price that does not even exist, almost. It's $.99 god damnit. So what about the flame wars.

With that being said, they are both very good games and are worth paying for.

    That's just my 2 cents.

    Cheers.

    +1 for saying minigore
-1 for saying that something ordinary is one of a kind
+1 for saying the graphics are awesome
+1 for saying the sound is very good
-1 for pluralising the word character (unfortunately, enemies don't count in my opinion so there's only one character)

    overall +1

EDIT: -1 for saying it's your 2 cents worth. It's not, it's your 198 cents worth.
    New overall 0

I agree iPhone games are better when they're simple

despite what your opinion is, there ARE 4 different enemies
it doesnt matter if their only change is more health, bigger size, faster etc.
    they are still different enemies
