Playn is too much of a fanboy to give a credible opinion about all things minigore, he just kiss their ass no matter what. Minigore is a one level game with a launch promise of episodic content, after almost a year and several updates it is still an inferior game to idracula with its one update.

    Australia, mate!
He's obviously hurt that all his scores and characters have been erased, but he's too blind to see that it was the developers' fault.

read this quote below, oh and also learn what "credible" means, because you clearly don't.
an example of no credibility would be, what you just wrote actually.

    QFT

out of proper replies are ya? i thought so.
and actually, i didnt even have minigore installed when the update came out so i couldnt care less about the bug
oh and btw, if you bothered to read i was never defending them, i was merely saying how immature some people are, crying over a game.

Nah I read your post. If you read all my posts you can see they're all related to your previous post, including that 'Who is Shigeru Miyamoto?' one. Oftentimes it's you who don't respond to my follow up posts, probably because you agree ey?

But yeah, your tone is somehow softer this morning, must've been the weekend breeze. Just read your own posts and see what I mean.

I for one will admit I'm not as mad as yesterday. Just like after losing a match, we'd all get mad, but after a while it's easier to take. Was really mad as I lost the data not because of my fault at all, but purely because of the dev's incompetence.

ive read your posts and yea i know some of what you say relate, but that car thing and super smash bros really didnt.

oh you mean how i sound, yea im not as annoyed as i was last night. gf's in new zealand for 2 weeks so been more annoyed then normal, but it was mainly that people were taking things too far

If you take it out of context, yes both things don't relate. But they very much relate to your post regarding how MS has a lot of pressure from people wanting it out quickly, especially the Super Smash Bros example. Shigeru Miyamoto just didn't give two hoot about all the crying from people who wanted it out before Christmas. He felt the game was not ready and delayed it by a few months. He didn't compromise on the quality or release a bug-ridden version with excuse 'but you guys want it out quickly'.

But then you don't know Shigeru Miyamoto (probably the most famous and recognised game designer in the industry), so it doesn't surprise me that you don't see the relation.

Re Toyota, in case you didn't read it on the news, they ordered a massive recall of 7.7m cars worldwide. Some of the defect cars caused fatal accidents, and it was all due to the careless quality control because of the huge 'market demand'. How does it relate to Minigore? MS was careless in quality control due to 'market demand' as well. Fortunately the effect is nowhere near fatal, though losing all data is still really bad.

So that's my explanation for the relation of those two examples.

Anyway, out of the flame war debate, I recommend you reading his Wikipedia page at the very least. It's interesting if you like reading :)

again, thats hardly an offence. i dont get why you keep saying that really

and yes that guy didnt rush the update but that still doesnt disprove what i was saying. i was saying that some of these people (refer to minigore blog comments) were a partly cause in them rushing the update and hence the problem. if that guy doesnt care what people say, good for him.
but then again i doubt those people were acting like how these people on the minigore blog are

and again, for the last time its the same thing with toyota. they wernt going to lose sales because of immature people bringing their reputation down, giving bad reviews, boycotting etc. etc. all it was for toyota was simply high demand. not all this extra crap mountain sheep was and is getting before the update

but yes, cbf with flame war now. over.

this was a fairly interesting little arguement

in anticipation of this update, even some of the testers were getting paranoid and angry.

This fiasco is an eyeopener, those beta testers are not really testers but merely cannon fodders.
