Them working hard to get the update out. If we didn't complain, they'll probably take their time in releasing the update...

So you would be happy to wait another few weeks before they fix this problem?

no. thats completely besides the point
the point is that if they took their time despite your wishes, they wouldnt of run into this problem

    more time = better quality
less time = problems we see now

    simple as that

No, people don't ask other devs to rush their updates because over developers don't send out rubbish updates. If this last update wasn't rubbish, then no-one would be complaining. It's their fault for releasing a buggy update, and it's their responsibility to fix it.

I wasn't actually the one who rushed them. In fact, prior to this, I didn't even care about updates to Minigore.

im going to copy and paste this because it replies to that perfectly

they wouldnt of run into this problem if they wernt rushed by all these people

    more time = better quality
less time = problems we see now

    simple as that

now if you guys gave MS time do you think they would be sending out updates with bugs? of course not. you guys dont rush other devs so why rush MS? if yous cut them some slack, were nice to them and didnt rush like yous currently are still doing then you would be seeing bug-free games

fair enough, this still applies to all those other people doing what your doing now tho

No-one ever rushed them to release the previous update, but because the previous update was buggy, people are rushing their next update now.

Once was a writer; then AS became to overwhelming
Rushing? Really? That little package of useless crap took three month!
The real reason for rushing out a crippled downdate was the iPad version!

    Answer:
Shigeru Miyamoto faced much bigger problem with people's expectation (in much bigger scale), but he never compromised. If it's not good enough, even when close to deadline, he'll scrap the project.

And that's some serious pressure from the media, reviewer and gaming communities everywhere, not just a bunch of people flocking to one site. He can always pull your excuse and say the game is not as good as he wants it to be, or the glitches are there because it's rushed.

Toyota could say their brake problems are because they can't cope with the huge demands. Excuse can always come up.

You can even now say those two are much bigger companies than 2-man team MS, but you're forgetting two things:
    1. They're making something much much much bigger than Minigore too. Yes they have big money, but the risk is much bigger too. They can lose millions and investors' trust and many people can lose job. In Toyota's case, many people lost life!
    2.

but those companies dont have to deal with people slating their game 24/7 and always expecting more, for free.
those companies also dont involve with the community, sure they may give out surveys but they dont set up blogs where they reply to comments and go to a forum

im not sure who Shigeru Miyamoto so i wont comment on that, and if he is like that then good on him (y)

the toyota thing doesnt really count
    1) no one was saying "hurry and release the newww carssssss"
    2) minigore isnt life or death, they had a lot less to risk by listening to some peoples whining

im also not saying their right, they made a mistake by not giving us beta testers the final build

    ARE YOU SERIOUS??? :eek::eek:
Ok, please don't tell that to anyone else since it'll bring down your credibility to zero and make you look clueless.

He's the one who created Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Pikmin, Nintendogs, Star Fox, etc and the first person to be inducted to the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Hall of Fame. Yes, before Sid Meier (Civilization), Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy), John Carmack (Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake) and Will Wright (Sim City, The Sims).

MS don't have to as well. There's no law or iTunes agreement saying they must set up a blog, they must read every comment on it or on TA. If they want it, that's another matter, because Shigeru Miyamoto can also create a blog and meet all the whiners if he wants to. Does he want to? No.

So MS can't blame people for reading all the whines on their blog. No one forces them to write a blog or read all the comments.

If you think there are more people wanting Minigore update than Super Smash Bros Brawl, you need to step out from MS' shed for a moment. But then again, you don't know who Shigeru Miyamoto is so I won't be surprised

    1. Oh ya? Are you sure no one wants new cars to be released? You need to know some car people, the rich ones, who buy cars just for the sake of it. And if you read my previous post (or even above), MS can just ignore them and work on the update calmly. Other devs face similar problem too, but they know how to handle things. See how Zen Bound or X2 Football dev ignore all impatient people and don't overhype anything.
    2. You were saying Minigore's devs are little team with financial risk. I was simply pointing out that Toyota has much bigger risk.

    yeah, i highly doubt that.

if they want to advertise they app, yes they need to. they cant just expect the game to climb the charts with little to no advertising
i dont think MS are blaming them for that at all.

and i never mentioned super smash bros brawl, so i dont know where your going with that.
im sure most people here dont know who that guy is anyway. thats probably the worst insult you could ever make, literally. its worse then yo mama insults

and last thing, whats with the obsession with Shigeru? just asking

none of those people waiting for X2 football are behaving like immature brats, are they? same thing applies for the cars. are they rushing toyota? are they saying you need to release the car asap or else im going to do everything i can to lose you sales? no. so its invalid, its completely different scenario

and yes, their risks are different risks, no matter the size they dont relate.

agreed, im gonna stop now too.

i was up to over 930,000 kills, it's taken a while.
i paid for extra characters to support development.
i was looking forward to unlocking the Sensei Evan character.
if i don't get anything back i'm gonna delete the app, i don't want to play for months to achieve a goal which is taken away because of a stupid mistake, it's very unprofessional.
