To everyone: Don't forget to rate the game when you get it in the app store, support it. To Apple: Suck it.
Whatever I'm going to bed. This isn't going to come out until Monday. I'm giving up. I've already lost half my interest in this game. Apple needs to go jump off a cliff.
This game will fail. BEFORE YOU FLAME ME: It will fail because it won't live up to all this hype, everyone seems to be expecting for this game to come down to earth from heaven in a golden chariot and lead us all to the promised land but it won't... BELIEVE ME: I want this game to be awesome, and I'm sure it will, I just don't think it will be as awesome as all this hype supposes, therefore it will get bad reviews, and thus, fail. If you want an example of what I am talking about, look at worms...
worms failed on its own merits...lack of good controls and multiplayer minigore does what it needs to do and does it well
This is why is think the submission process should be internal, they should give us a release date instead of subjecting people to a long and painfull vigil! It's like a parent giving a 12 yr old a ps3 today but telling him he could only play it after 2 weeks! We are always blaming apple but dnt you think the devs are also in the wrong here?
I don't think you're right. The devs can't tell us a release date, Because they have no idea when it will be released either!
On the contrary they can! EA did it with sims3, ngmoco with Rolando 2... Yes it was delayed for a day but it's very forgivable! The key is to make the submission internal and anounce the date after they got the nod from apple, that we the consumer will spared with this unnecesary waiting! Do you want this to be a president for other devs as a cheap tool to gather hype.... Other devs are observing this thread as we speak and they may be thinking ' hey this is cool let's do the same to get them excited' Do you want games released this way? If very unprofessional for me and thus a turn off! It's up to us the consumer to tell them how we want to be treated and if you wanted this for every anticipated upcoming games then I have nothing more to say.... Peace!
Nope. It's entirely Apple's approval process, it honestly has nothing to do with the developer. If Apple wasn't f*cking around 90 percent of their work day then this wouldn't be a problem
The dev has to set a specific date release for that to happen. In this case, they didn't so it will be out when it's approved.
Yeah, but that's just EA. Every other dev just submits the game and it's out the second Apple approves it to make the process faster for the fanbase. EA just likes building up the hype and quite frankly, they suck

We havn't even seen A.D.D. from iugo yet, so when that hits the app store probably this week, then expect minigore 2 weeks later.
