Thanks hazmat! Once you broke my high score I played another game and died on purpose. The game showed it was updating my score and updated my OF score to the 7500 point game I mentioned earlier. So once you hit number one OF doesn't sync your score until someone is able to beat it.
This looks awesome, and I jsut looked at the one picture from hardgore, and WOW it looks better than I remembered!
No, we just finished the final beta test right now. Should be ready REALLY soon though. As soon as it happens I'll edit the thread title so that there isn't any confusion EDIT: It is in Chillingo's hands but not in Apple's. The publisher needs to sign off on it first.
i cannot wait for this game, but then again i hate this thread, because all the beta testers talking about the scores make me want to play this game even more! damn you all!!!!
The score discussion is how we figured out how the pace of the game should be changed. If we are getting ridiculously high scores then it needs to be harder. If we are doing terribly then it needs to be a slower pace. So now there is a "Normal" mode with a slow easy start and moderate pacing, but also an option for "Expert" mode which gets frenzied really quickly
so VegantTnT( or any of the other beta testers) is this build definitely the best? since its the final one or does it seem like they took a step backwards with it its sad it got pushed back but if it was to work on the game more i don't mind so much, and also don't mind waiting especially for this one i just want to know if the final build is the best build yet?
@sundance: Definitely the best, each build has become progressively as the devs are really paying attention to our feedback as gamers. I suppose it helps that there are only a few of us doing testing. Anyway, this build has ipod access and OF 2.0 so it's a great addition. @Diggins: Not to sure on that one. Since it isn't released yet OF is kind of sparse. An example would be in achievements... This build doesn't have any but I don't know if ANY will be added at all. It's possible that they could just reset the scores once the game is released although that wouldn't matter a whole lot as eventually my scores will get knocked off by the plethora of amazing gamers out there
thanks VegantTnT, the game looked great to began with, and it seems like the hype for it hasn't died out at all. the developers seemed to be really into it as they posted alot on here, as well as there blog, since the game was first unveiled.glad to hear they pay attention to requests and take in all your info. cant wait
well, i for one am glad there are the two modes, since i am not a scoring maniac like the rest of you i need my "easy" button
Ive heard that if you score more than 10000 points a naked babe will come and dance the peanut butter jelly dance.
