It was still a tad dramatic. Sure, Apple's hitting a ton of rocks, but I can find a calm spot for waiting. I sure as hell hope that their problems don't last too long. Ouch, sorry about that. Nope, I didn't know you posted that. It's hard to pay attention to 300+ pages of waiting. I wouldn't know about your lady, but I've had heartbreak before.. Anyway, sorry for the aggressiveness.
What's with all the price drops? Come on Apple! And Hodapp that was the best way to scare somebody about this.
Ugh man sorry. Its just ppl have been giving me so much shit this week. And like I said, its easy to let all my anger out on here where it causes no damage. Thanks for understanding.
I did see that you said that back a few pages ago. I'm still sorry myself. For now, lets just do our best to pull through. Just remember, there's light at the end of this tunnel (although it's hard for even me to believe at this point). We can make it and once we do, I promise that we will do a co-op together and own furries out the wazoo.
I'm seriously hopeless for this game now. It's been nearly three weeks since this game was submitted to the Appstore. Nothing. Touch KO was already released, and that was submitted on the 10th. iMech was at least rejected by Apple, and that was submitted BEFORE Minigore. What the heck happened to Minigore? Did Apple lose it? Forget about it? To make things much worse, Apple hasn't released ANY apps in the past 22 HOURS. Plus, the Appstore is broken. (I'm not sure if they fixed it yet or not.)
i actually think its already approved but there not releasing it yet. if not then this is RIDONCULUS!!!!!!
They fixed it, every thing's back to normal. I'm hopeless for this game too, Apple's just being greedy and keeping the game all to themselves. I hate them..
Read This... From their Twitter.. @sbraidley I bet the approval takes so long because Apple forgot to actually review the game instead of just playing it non-stop! about 10 hours ago from web
I would like to clear something up that I keep seeing in this thread. One, first day sales for almost all apps are the biggest and sales drop after day one for most so I don't see why the devs would delay a release seeing as how it has no other platform title to release with (EA sets release dates to coincide with their other releases). Second, I have read from devs that it is in the devs best interest to release apps/games on approval day for one big reason....Apple in one of their lists, list new games by approval date, NOT release date. So if your game is released on say July 27 and you release it on August 7, Apple will place that game much lower on the new games list because of the filter in place for approval date (July 27) within iTunes. The higher your app is on all lists the better.
+1 but im not sure if its approved or not. and some devs dont just release it on approval date. i dont think star defense was released when it was approved they told us they would release in on a specific date and they had some good sales.
True but with smaller devs it is in their best interest to get their games as high on every single list out their for exposure purposes. You actually are hurting sales if you are not listed high on every possible list available. Other devs have so much marketing behind their titles like with EA releasing a mobile version, XBox, PS3 and PC version means they have so much marketing and exposure that they can really pick which date to release on. EDIT: I am pretty sure this game will be released when approved. They never pigeon holed themselves into a specific release date like EA or ngmoco does.
Chillingo might make these decisions instead of Mountain Sheep, however. And from what I know, Chillingo is a pretty big company.
