Or you could go to www.appshopper.com . They post not only the new games, but apps for all categories.

I guess my guess was wrong. Minigore didn't hit the AppStore at 12PM Pacific.

No, no, no. You didn't read my post. I plan on buying it...I just don't have the ridiculous expectations that most other people have. I think it'll be fun and more than worth $.99, but there is nothing about this that in its launch state is going to be groundbreaking in any way.

You are putting words into people's mouths. Who expects anything other than a one level pick up and play $0.99 game? Just because there are so many posts in this thread does not mean everyone here thinks this is the second coming of Mario. People are just excited to play a game that both beta testers and early reviews have rated highly.

Edit: Also the devs have been active here and Timo has a great artistic touch from the looks of his previous work. I have not seen one game with this much character and art design in a while.

Um...no. There have been many games that have been highly anticipated that have had none of the slavering devotion that this game seems to have elicited. I don't have to put words in anyone's mouth. If you have a few days, read through this ridiculous thread and you'll see countless quotes of people fairly ripping their hair out over a probably fun, but seemingly VERY simple game of shooting furries. I'll get it as soon as it comes out, but I have realistic expectations. Ask 10 people who haven't posted on this thread if this game is overhyped, and I imagine at least 8 of them will say yes.

Yeah, about that. Most of us that were posting like crazy in this thread were just insanely bored and having a little fun. Nothing serious.

This chat is particularly 'Barren' ;)
It's the word I've been told to use when refering to stuff like this.

Oh, I understand that. I've made many a ridiculous post on the Enviro-Bear thread. I just think that there's no way this game can live up to the hype that's been generated. I get that a lot of these posts are silly, many of them aren't even about Minigore (I fondly remember a 3-4 page blastoff with a 14 year-old French boy vs. the World), but I still think this game's buildup is out of proportion to what we will get when it comes out.

This is the Minigore waiting room :)

I'm hoping for a fun pick-up-and-play game, so for me, it'll live up to the hype almost certainly.

Me too. This is going to be worth the wait and hype for me.

Agreed. A fun pick up and play game similar to iDracula.

    So what?

Well Pocket God has an army devoted to it, it is a fairly simple app/game hybrid. Can't people be excited for small gems if they are happy with it?

Good for you. Then why do you need to chime in about "realistic expectations" when all I see are just some people in TA excited about a small game. People can be happiest with the simplest of things, you know.

Everything doesn't have to be epic or grand.
