So this game will be out next month, is there an estimated date of next month, and how much will it cost?
Thanks for the tagline contest entries so far! Thorero: Yeah, the camera is fixed in the place above the player. The camera doesn't rotate and that means we don't have to employ any special tricks to make the bushes face the player. Thanks VegantTnT for answering the other question kqjrjkrawr: I had to copy paste the name so I get it right Minigore will cost 99 cents (0,79 € in Europe), we can't pinpoint the exact date of release because that ultimately depends on Apple. We expect to have the game ready by mid-June.
this game will only be 99 cents? that is amazing, it looks very well made, it will be a must buy for me
An actual release date would be a bit premature, we haven't even started beta testing. I'm sure Santa or Timo will post if they are shooting for a specific timeframe though.
Speaking of which, Fat Princess is now on the PSP, so if you want to see a benchmark of what can be done with a multiplayer spinoff of the "Gore" series, you can check this (3:56): Also, you guys had said that Hardgore was closer to PixelJunk Monsters than anything else. Well that's on the PSP too. Check the same vid at 2:37. This way you can see if they have any comparable tricks you can use in your game.
This looks like a very promising game. Kudos to the devs! I like games with personality which this one seems to have in spades.
Everybody sent in their entries for the contest?? (That is those who weren't too busy partying at E3, or working to reach their deadlines for WWDC? ) 6 words only, that is tough, I'd have gone for :“It always looks darkest just before it gets totally black.” (Charlie Brown) djflippy, I think he means people who are currently among the Magnificent 7 - the 7 Horsemen of the Apocalypse (oops, sorry there were only 4 of them).
Minigore update So much cool game videos at E3 and I haven't had time to wade through them all, sniff... Fat Princess trailer I had to watch though Dev diary continues- The very first concept painting of Minigore from many months ago: ----- For comparison here's a screenshot of June 5th build, the funny thing is that we don't have all features of above concept implemented yet Blood ponds are missing (except for player) and there's no proper muzzle flashes... Is there any fans of the old game called Return Fire here? We have a pretty solid code base for vehicles having done flying game for PSP, especially helicopters - I think it would be an awesome power up or "weapon upgrade" instead of some puny minigun or shotgun! ...having said that look at what he's holding... yeah, a boomstick
