You're wrong my friend ... the bug is still there! If you close and re-open the game it's like you start again from the first time!!!
They did not purposley make the bug and they definitely regret what happened. They are doing what they can to fix the bug and sort everything.

It is mainly caused by this not being the first big Mountain Bug - and by offering lousy 20.000 kills. And now the interference of... devote beta testers only does increase the anger and provokes even more aggression.
I do see your point. I am not angry however because this does not change the quality of the overall GAME, and I am confident that they'll fix it.

I wonder if the Permissions in the minigore.dat file are not set correctly which would cause it to not update the save file. Hence when you close and re-open all progress is gone. I know permissions were supposed to be set for 775 in past versions. I'll look this evening and see if there is error there. If it is, I will change it and test the close/re-open loss of progress issue. Not to mention who all is unlocked. I'll probably backup my .dat file and plist from 3.6 onto my computer then compare it to the new one in the update and look for discrepancies. Then SSH the corrected files back onto the device For those that are lost in what I am speaking of..."Jailbroken."

It's a blip on an update that was pushed for release too soon. It happens. Are you really that upset about kills or acheivments in a game? Just stop.
