Wait are you saying you did not experience the bug? Anyway: UPDATE: Timo said that bought characters can be re-bought for free, locked characters will be unlocked using OpenFeint Achievements and you will all be given something like 20,000 kills to spend on whatever you want.

You will get all your characters back via OpenFeint achievements (this keeps track on what characters you unlocked).
I did never use OpenFeint! And I am losing more than 700.000 Points! I want my money back! And the money for the DLC and for the iPad version, too! WE WILL KILL THIS APPS RATING IN THE GERMAN STORE!
Its just an app dude. Get over it. They're working on a fix so just chillax and play something else in the meantime.
If you signed up with OpenFeint (I hope you did) then you gain achievements for getting enviro-bear or something when you do it. Mountain Sheep can then see these stats and give you the character for free as you have proof that you unlocked him. You will have to wait for an update for this to take place (updates for major bug fixes go through the Apple treadmill very quickly so the update will be hopefully soon). As for the person who did not use OpenFeint, too bad. There is nothing Timo can do. Hopefully they will give you your kills back or grant you a large donation of kills.
But there is something, I can do for Timo; I am giving myself a donation of killing a little of Montain Sheeps income in Germany, I promise.
Timo is going to give you back your characters including the DLC's but if you had 999,999 for sensei evan you lost it.. They are going to give u only 20,000...
Thankfully I didn't update. Didn't lose Sensei. Cut MS some slack guys, more beta testing just needs to be done in the future.
