An easy way to wait for the update is to NOT wait for the update. Play some other games and forget about minigore and when the update appears then you'll be exclaiming "Wow! The update came out!"

I agree. I'm just gonna try forgetting about this update and play some Guerrilla Bob until I forget about it. Then SHAZAM! when the update comes out we'll all be happy. :p

I believe that waiting for the update would be fun if they kept us informed on how its going every now and then, but they go 3-4 weeks before saying anything.

I mean just something saying "Its going well, working on bugs" something like that would keep me happy

I'm sorry, but even if the dev team was 1 person, having so few updates with so little content (it dowsn't take much to have a radar, add 1 or 2 enemies and just reskin characters) is ridiculous. Maybe Mountainsheep thought that they were just above either developing somewhat quickly or have abandoned the game due to its high sales and ridiculously high undeserved fanbase built on the foundations of hope...

    Earth......for now
    they have not given up
they are doing a huge update with tons of new stuff
eg a brand new map, new enemies, a new melee attack, tons of different co-op modes, new characters and even more features
this stuff takes time to do and get perfect so be patent

and dont say they have given up when they are trying to get it done to please there fans

The only thing that is taking so long is optimization for older devices, I'm fairly certain that they could release the update for Minigore and Minigore HD right now, but it would suck on older devices because they aren't powerful enough.

Hell yeah. They are taking so long it better be free. Also I wish they would just release what they got now and then add a few little things later.

Sure checking from time to time is okay, but why dwell on the past?

Timo has said a while ago that the content that we know of that will be in this update is only part of what is going to be in the final release. for all we know, the update may contain 3X more content than what everyone had been expecting. im sure that when this update comes out many complaining fans will be put in their place.........I hope

I am pretty sure that the Minigore hype is over - no matter on the content of the future update (should it ever go live). Mountainsheep had a great opportunity to nurture the hype the game had when released but everything took (and takes!) way to long, was of mediocre content, and was way to buggy. They could never live up to their promises on the game (anyone remembers a planned game called HardGore, btw?).
Sure, some hardcore fans will play this again but most peple are done with game IMO.
