GameClub Minigore (by Mountain Sheep)

My only beef with the game is that they seemed to of put more time and money into the promotion of the game than the game itself. Those videos have a ton of stuff you don't see in the initial release which is misleading to people who haven't studied up on the game like some have. The game has potential, but wow it's taking it's time getting there.

Ha. I don't really think they put much money into promoting it. I think the TouchArcade forums took care of that for them.

 

Where are these videos you guys speak about? I didn't know about this game pre-release so i must have missed them.

 

WTF wasnt the update submitted like 3 weeks ago?!?! I dont think this is ever gonna update, Im sorry but I have lost all hope for minigore.

Well if it makes you feel any better the folks in the Duke Nukem thread have been waiting for over 2 weeks I think for a patch to fix the controls. I think its all on apple.

 

Can't blame him for losing hope! I can't imagine why a one level game which only update is a radar and an extra life will take so long to be approved i remember seeing threads like minigore ep 2 and ep 3 waiting room, i mean wtf

 

Theres something to be said for that, all this promotion and advertising and I have yet to see this game walk on its own. Its disappointing, mountain sheep should really stop sitting back and make more of an effort to get this game realized.

 

In theory if one is going to make an episodic type game then they "should" be a few levels ahead of themselves at all times to maintain a constant flow... But when you have Apple and their approval process as a factor it's hard to plan.

For all those loosing patience and hope, delete the game off your device, play something else and when you see it's updated, install it. It'll be like a new game all over again.

 

There should be Santa as an unlockable who has a power up where he gets in a sleigh... And mows ppl down or throws snowballs

 

If they submit it now it might just get approved by Christmas.

While the two games are different, I do agree that A4E has more content, and at a low price too (well...it's gonna go up). In that regard (content-wise) A4E is superior.

I actually it was sort of funny how you said Gore got fatter because better games came out and he gorged himself on cakes

you would only be able to get up to level 2 and have 1 quest. Then you would have to wait for future updates to complete the game.
