Damn i dont want to wait that long. In my book apple should prioritze updates buy where an application stands in the rankings. better selling applications will be checked and approved faster. There are more people waiting for these updates. I think thats a fair solution.
I bet Apple is givin the $3 Spider a chance to make it to #1 first (anyone want to argue with me about how Apple works, it's not like they can't/don't manipulate their numbers, look at the stock insider stuff 2 years ago jk @Kimmo Anyhow, I would like to see in future updates a boundry or fence to get a better sense of where my movement limits are without getting needlessly cornered with no apparent visual cue of why I can't move more. OR, in the alternative, make the level(s) bigger
doesn't one question as to why Apple is taking long for some apps to get approved, whether it be an update or release? I don't want to bash on Apple but I'm really curious on how the process goes.
Im excited yet dissapointed to see the new pocket god update has appeared on itunes after spending only a quick week in review. Minigore is going on two weeks now and im losing my mind. I think apple is playing some favoritism.
apple is really foxtrot uniform charlie kilo uniform papa with those updates... it takes WAY too long (and I am waiting for more than just minigore/games)
Don't you mean foxtrot uniform charlie kilo echo delta? Or perhaps foxtrot uniform charlie kilo india november golf.
They're not robots you know. Lol. They're allowed to have favorites but Pocket God has considerably less content and since it's been out for a while, the approval is quicker since Apple knows what to expect and that there will be little to no problems. Also, Pocket God is one of the most popular apps on the App Store so of course Apple would want to release it quickly.
I've been crunching away artwork several days now so haven't had time to read this thread in a while. We just updated the website with some stuff, there's now a link to official Minigore flickr gallery with lots of pictures! http://minigore.blogspot.com/ I better go through the thread now and answer all the questions you might have had, yesterday there was that "small" announcement regarding PSP version I'll just mention quickly that it doesn't affect development of iPhone version in a negative way, it probably has many positive effects because of the increased development budget.
put out the apps and there updates 24 hours after submission. If it don't pass it don't come out. All they have to do for price drops is call a guy and say "drop the price" but an update takes 20 years. Actually the fastest update I've seen from initial release 1.0 to 1.2 submission and availability was like one week, which is pretty fast......but could be faster depending on if four of those seven days were waiting on apple.
