How about a hair gel gun that sticks all that hair down and reveals them for the frail creatures they are? Doing my best here in the UK, Minigore is 4th in the appstore! More champagne!!! (DOn't believe what pocketgamer tell you, rubbish as usual, these guys at mountain sheep are stone drunk from the bubbly!).
I remember a game called baldies with characters called baldies, they weren't a pretty sight I tell ya! http://www.mobygames.com/game/baldies/cover-art/gameCoverId,14062/ Lightning gun would be great power up! Especially if it zig zagged from furry to furry so it would be extra effective when lots of enemies are around. -Timo
Sounds cool. How about a net gun power up? If you shoot it at a mob of furries, it traps them thus forcing them to cannibalize each other and it would also allow you to move around the trapped furries picking them off with your machine gun. You would have to fire when there are no fire furries around as they would be able to free themselves.
I like this, the idea of weapons that while nifty need some sort of situational awareness and have their own inherent drawbacks.
Don't forget what I said about "environmentalist", the amount of furries levels off after 1 1/2 minutes or so. it's nothing to do counter-clockwise circles without shooting for 20 minutes if you have the patience and start the game without shooting. something will have to change or this will just be a 'gimme' achievement available to anyone with 5 minutes to spare by starting a new game and running in circles. insane mode sounds awesome. the thing is, i've been thinking the flaming furries should be worth 1 more point than the rest. this mode would make that worth it. way harder, but flamers are worth 3 or more points a piece. it just works like that, score goes up way quicker, game is way tougher. i understand online coop requires servers, but i want to let you know that that is what made baseball sluggers. if that game was bluetooth or offline only i would've never bought it. it is just so fun with the online multiplayer. again, i understand it may not happen, i'm just sayin how much those servers would up your sales. i'll be watching twitter, when i'm not playing...
It would be cool to have more exciting animations when you kill the medium and large furries. They could fall down and have a hole punctured through them in which the other furries climb out.
I think it would be cool to have like a gremilin mode, where every furry is small, but after you kill 1, 2 more spawn from it. Your screen would fill with furries insanley fast. People will be going for records of surving for 10 seconds, lol. The best thing to add to this game would be an ultimate battlefield. Have a larger field than there currently is, and add in short brick walls that are destructible by the furries that the guy could take cover behind. And add in like 2 turrets that you could walk into to start shooting furries at blazing speeds. But they only have like a 180 degree turning range, so you would have to hop off after the furries got behind you. Then during multiplayer one guy could man the turret while your team mate stands behind you covering your back. Then add in little houses that you could walk into in the midst of battle to upgrade your arsenal. It could be like an active shop system thingy, where while you are shopping there is a little window and you can see the furries outside hopping around and the longer you are in the shop the more you see. When you get out, the longer you have been in there the more furries that will be waiting for you outside, from a reasonable distance of course. You could even add in a purchasable that costs alot that sets off a C-4 trap around the perimiter of the shop, and when you step outside you see the explosion and all the current furries are killed, but you get no points or money from this. Oh hellz yes, if only it would be done.
you smoke weed don't you? nice ideas, sounds like a ps3 version of this game though. i would love to have the map larger with a shop i could run into and buy stuff from during a round.
I just wanted to point out that there is a huge difference between real-time and non-real-time. HUGE! And no, Baseball Sluggers, a fine game which I enjoy every now and then, is most likely not real-time. I'm pretty sure they send the packet over TCP after the other player has swung and just tells the game what happened and replays it for you in the corner to your right. Ever wondered why you can't pitch?
Whenever I try to go to the fourth page of the leaderboard the game closes and goes back to the apple OS page. I have an Ipod 2g, anyone else have that problem.
I never tried to scroll beyond the first page, I'd have to go too far back to find my score! That said I just tried to scroll 20 pages back on the next release version, and that went fine. I'll try the same on the current version. Have you tried this several times?
I'm not so sure about that, Anders. Both player have to accept playing the game. So this decision comes before the first shot for both. After that, they both see the first ball coming at exactly the same time (look at them, at the beginning they are perfectly synched).
Any tips? I've only played it about 5 times and I have a bad score of 2567. I blow up the crates and play on expert. And when's Hardgore coming out?
