ok first of all the dev or chillingo never even expected all this hype. And i dont really think you can make a better game than this. plus a lot of people like it and so do i. No one made you buy but yourself. so you cant blame anyone. your the dumb one that made the choice of buying this game.

What did you expect? There was more than an ample amount of information, video's, and screens for you to have made an educated purchase. There was a gameplay video specifically showing the entire gameplay. So if after all that you bought it anyway, and were "suprised" than you my friend are a tard.

    +1

You definitely could not have made the choice to purchase this unless you tried VERY HARD to be an uninformed consumer. Lots of videos, discussion, and developer information was to be had well before this game ever came out.

    two things:

    1. if you believed the hype your an idiot

    2. you didnt even say whats wrong with it. all you said was its bad in various ways.

i'm averaging 3400-3600 a game now, haven't seen 4000 yet, but my personal scoreboard is steady going up. my goal is to be at 6 or 7 by tomorrow.

My average has always been around 2000-3000 at least. My goal: 9000 or higher.

To be fair, the game misses in a few BASIC areas that I'm surprised both the Dev and Chillingo let slip (especially for a "quality" title):

    1. No auto-save (phonecall = game over)
    2. No auto-rotation (i know its a menu option, but why not auto?)
    3. Improperly scaled graphics (why are the fonts borked in the options menu?)

Still a cute, fun game for what it is, and definately has potential (more weapons, upgradeable skills, clothing, etc., more characters, and so on).

I agree on your first point. I wish they had auto save! I'm constantly thinking about getting a call in the middle of the game and hoping it doesn't happen. Oh well, seems like it'll be in the next update. Hopefully it gets updated soon!

I'm glad there's no auto flip...I don't know why that would be a problem for you...just set it once and you don't have to mess with it again.

With auto-flip it can get really annoying to have a game flip back and forth if I'm walking with it or setting my device down on a table.

If you flip it so that the right side of the safari screen is by the end of the ipod where the home button isn't there, the auto rotation won't be put in. It'll stay like that, so that you can browse while lying down

lemme word it better. Make sure the side with no home button is down

    totally agree

also a total pain when looking at photos especially if I take a photo in landscape...I can't view them on my phone that way...wtf apple, epic fail on that one

...you take a photo in landscape but if you turn your phone to view it, it auto rotates and becomes super tiny

With all first releases it seems that we get to (beta TesT) get a great taste of an App. This has become the trend. For me I would rather play and wait for updates.... its like a little gift every month and gets me to play the apps again. When App's retail at .99ยข expect Bugs and fixes in its near future.
