As much as i like it , it sure did not live up to the hype but i really hope they'll add more stuff through Updates and not put this off and just wait for HardGore to come out.

Hey guys, remember the ideas I posted a few pages back? Well Timo responded and here is the response:

Here's the PM I sent him. So I guess some of those ideas below will be added. Sweet.

Not that anyone asked for my opinion, but here it is anyway! :p

While I've only put maybe 45 minutes or so into it so far, I LOVE this game! The graphics are cute, in an Animal Crossing sort of way, the music sounds nicely Elfman-esque, and the speech clips, oddly, don't annoy me (this is a first, and I DID play Duke3D :)). And as in any decent game, if I get tired of the voices, they can be disabled :p

Above all that, though, is the gameplay. While I can understand where others criticizing it as shallow, or one-dimensional, I think that's what I really love about it. While I'd use words like elegant or straightforward instead, I love the simplicity.

While I was supremely addicted to iDracula for longer than I probably care to admit, dealing with the insane number of powerups, managing the six or eight types of ammo, and coping with switching weapons in the middle of all of that (not to mention games where you were dealt lousy choices for your perks) tended to get a little old after a while. I still loved the core gameplay, but in the end, I ended up spending more energy and attention on the trimmings, and the whole thing just plain got old. I still think it's an excellent game, but I think I've pretty much worn that one out. Yes, I know iDracula gets some flak around here. I thought it was great. Nyahh :p

This game, by contrast, is my favorite parts of iDracula, minus all the extraneous trappings. While I can see it not being something I play every day after the newness wears off, I'll be VERY surprised if this leaves my phone anytime soon. Even if the promised updates never materialize - though I'm more optimistic there than some - it's still a great little shooter for my smoke breaks :D

Score of 10506? Damn you guys are so much better at this game! :)

Some time ago I promised a bigger wallpaper version of the cover art. Well, yesterday I painted this for print resolution! Can't wait to put the Master of Puppets into the game, it will be an epic boss fight! [IMG]

Wow, that's just amazing. BTW, who is that girl next to John Gore? Will we be seeing her in the future?

sn0wned: The girl is John Gore's daughter, she will be a playable character in co-op - and possible in her own single player campaign.

Hey Timo, ever thought about holding a fan contest for designing a character to be created into the game? =]

RayLancer: Good idea, I'll keep that in mind. It might be better to do that once more people have had the chance to play it, then there will be more contestants. (the problem with drawing contests is that not too many people draw)

One probalem I can see with this game is money. I kinda feel like with the updates coming they might need more money to keep up production and all... Idk...
My idea for the solution (or not solution but just idea) is that they should make more levels and sell them as DLC packs. maybe more weapons too. I would gladly buy them.
They could make a dessert level and a jungle level. :) I hope they do it cause they deserve more cash. I love this game! aha. Any idea if you guys would consider it Timo?

you have to be kidding me. IN less than 24 hours this game is in the top 25 charts and you dont think they will make enough money for future updates? This might be the next big game. Look at Pocket God, they dont charge for DLC and their game has been $1.

I bet over 50% of the people who buy this game will not buy DLC too.

I'd pay more money for an update if they added Khalid Shaikh as an unlockable character.

    On thing....DEVELOPER READ THIS

This game is my favorite. period.
But ONE feature would bring it over the top.
    Customization!

I know it would be hard to do with the depleating levels of clothing as you lose health. But some way. Hair, pants?
It would be soooo sick. Also, when looking at the global stats, you would be able to see their customizable characters.
And mabey a new UI? Idk I like it, just seems kind of plain for such a nice game.
    Other than that, AMAAAAZING
