We'll see. Usually the devs who are commited to putting out updates often like that are much more involved in the community because the reason they are putting out that volume is for the community in the first place. All the devs for MInigore did is post a few dev stories in cute speak every other fortnight or so. It just seems more likely that the full game they intended to put out always had 3 levels and such, and they just pushed this barebones version out there to get some sales. Once the 3 levels are out, they might pack up shop and do something else like iDracula's Moregames.
That's true, they might, which would suck, but also would be great (no update threads ) I think iDracula's big final update was great though, they pretty much tripled the content.
This is why you cannot base reviews on "potential updates". You just have no idea if there will be an update or even what will actually be in them until they show up. Like I said, it's marketing collateral until it actually shows up.
Fun game for what it is, lots of potential, hopefully they actually follow-through with it and develop a full game around the core.
Hmm, well, I can tell you what isn't... Final Fantasy VII, Warcraft, and Halo 3 come to mind. But then again, I have a hankering for Sid Meier's Pirates every so often. Too many to name one right now since I'm at work.

holy crap I love this game, I never followed any of the hype, I saw one screenshot, and forgot about it. picked it up last night and I love it.

Exactly the same thing with me. I never understood the hype, and didn't keep up on it much. Got it this morning anyways and it's pretty fun. Totally not worth all the hype, but definitely fun. I definitely look foward to the updates, that's for sure. But I'll be patient. Same exact thing with Pocket God lol.
