You know guys, I am confident that one day these little ones will realize that iphone gaming is not the pinnacle of their life, and will stop b!tching about every little thing that doesn't go their way. Until then, I say let them complain like spoiled children.....
Do not delete the app! Download the new version. And then vote again! Vote them into the ground! Write mails to Apple and Chillingo - pointing out there has poisonous software been left in the app store willingly - day after day. Tell Apple you do not feel safe buying in app store anymore. Tell Apple you are starting to think about jailbreaking - to make copies of your data. Tell Chillingo you will not buy anything from this publisher anymore. Ask your lawyer. In some countries laws may be on your side. Warn people from buying the iPad version. Mountain Sheep says: without unlockable characters there is no reason for repeated playing anymore; but the iPad version already comes with all characters unlocked.
@symbolist actually, i think the ipad version only has the paid characters unlocked, along with john gore of course please correct me if mistaken
This thread makes me want to have an adult section on touchArcade. All this sillyness, rudeness and spoiled-brat-behaviour will make developers turn away from the forum. Thanks for that! It is not the first time an update is flawed, at least the devs are working on a fix and solution. This is not always the case. Promises for updates are broken a lot of times. Support for games is dropped sometimes as well and you can´t play them anymore when the OS is updated. Some devs don´t even care about their customers ideas or suggestions and leave their games kinda flawed. All this is not the case with Mountain Sheep. Keep that in mind. Btw, life will not offer you everything you want immediately on a silver plate, you will start to realize that when you start growing up.
Despite the glitch, the new update is fun. I like the predator furry. The new characters are pretty cool too. I just wish there were new boss figures. Wormwolf is pretty boring. I saved a copy of my minigore .dat file and such before updating and I just replace it in the documents folder before I want to play. I have everyone including Sensei, so I don't care about losing # of kills when I close the app. I just load the .dat file and I will have all my characters back each time and can play. When they have the new update out I will just load my GOOD minigore.dat file before updating and things will be fine then. No loss. Those that are not Jailbroken unfortunately cant do this. Sorry.
Well, I'm one of the minigore-fans who downloaded the update. When I saw the update, I thougt: "Yeah, a minigore update - I have to download this." The first game was play, but when I started it a few hours later again, all my scores and stats were deleted. Please fix this bug with another Update! Then I will play again, because in the moment there is no sense to play it if all scores will be deleted later.
gurls who would like to see female characters in minigore? i guess lizzy is a girl right? i was thinking the tooth fairy could be a good start to extend the holiday character theme... maybe a girl pixie or something if they want to start making original characters - WHICH THEY SHOULD! anyone else with suggestions for girl minigore characters? does that deserve a thread of it's own? (also on another angle a playable "civilized" furry could be cool) ps - as these all these characters started to pile up i was thinking that it was compromising the integrity or spirit of the game a bit. messing up the aesthetic. BUT if they continue to make characters, perhaps endlessly, then having hundreds to choose from would make for great fun, and give a whole new dimension to the game.
No, even better, because they will not work on updating this game forever... They should make a character creator built in the game. It would be like the "Mii" Creator on the Wii, but way cooler. Timmo could make a bunch of skins, eyes, nose mouth, scars, outfits, you name it. It will allow you to change color and orientations of each attribute for your to apply to your unique character. We the customers will then keep minigore alive forever by sharing our creations with each other and could have "Best character contests" and the like. So while we are STILL playing and making new stuff for minigore, MS will be working on their future projects and not being crippled by the minigore mob of fans that keep wanting more and more added to this game. Think about it MS!! Give us control!!! Make a Character Creator!!!
After this update its not problem that I lost my progress, its the fact it cant keep at all I turn off the game, and I come back and its all gone making me have to start over, after the third time I am completely I am not playing it until they fix the problem.
