Yeah those are some good suggestions. Although Purple Heart should really be more than just 50 deaths.
Every achievement is like that as it determines skill regardless of what the achievement is. Killing a certain amount of furries in this case involves skill because you have to be aware of what's coming at you.
I don't know this has been said, but something really has to be done with the dpads. With the constant movement, it's easy to slip out of the control area. So either make it bigger (not ideal as it blocks view), or make it so that it still detects even when outside the circles.
A few games incorporate a control stick that appears where you touch which I think would work well here. Having left and right zones, where ever you touch in that zone will place the control stick (if you are viewing them onscreen) and you go from there. Simply reposition your thumb and the control stick is repositioned onscreen. Edit: Actually thinking about that, I can see where that could hinder game play because you want to constantly be moving and if you reposition, there would be a stop in movement thus possibly killing poor John in the process.
Minigore is currently #51 in Top Paid Apps (US) and is moving up very quickly. And all within less than 24 hours since its release.
"oh my goodness....thats a large one" haha the commentary is hilarious...i wrote a whole little rant about all the hype er whaterever last night...at about 2 er 3 in the morning.haha if you didnt read it....i guess you can check my replies...er somethin this game rules!
Ok picked it up thanks to Big Albie's review. I like it all EXCEPT the menus, OMG they suk. I know it's been said before but they're very cheap looking, which is in contrast to the rest of the game. Gameplay is super fun and well controlled, hoping for more content in the future.
Never got to play it cuz my ds broke last fall and didn't feel like replacing it as a new nintendo handheld will likely launch next year. Looks awesome though.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/darchinst/3772394633/ the 'environmentalist' achievement will need to be alot longer. it levels off after a minute and a half or so with a decent crowd of furries (no flamers) and from then on they just chase you and no more appear. i stopped after 5 minutes of just running around the level with that crowd chasing. this was from the beginning of the game, maybe they would act differently if you try to do this in the middle after killing some...
The game is pretty simple...if you like iDracula I would avoid this ---there is a lot less in this game but it is a lot easier. I really dislike the absence of a continue/restore feature when I have to drop out of the game----starting from scratch after 10 min of play is a realy downer for me. Good enough for 1$.
The autosave feature is coming in the next update according to Vegan (thanks). This game is pretty simple and bareboned right now, but I can see it churning out updates, and having pocket god threads for each one.
