It's always like that. A Minigore update that takes forever and when it does come out, it comes with full of bugs.
This is hilarious. Nice GodSon. A fix for this should be out soon. Just be patient they'll find a way to repay you guys.
I didn't lose my progress still have the very few characters since I reinstalled the game recently! But that was like a week ago so I unlocked some characters!
Yeah, I'm sure we'll all be re-compensated for our losses. On a positive note. Since I have always seen Minigore as a "Work in Progress" game with the way they update it; I must say I like the new aspects implemented/tweaked. The bullet shells, expanded maps, shading, etc... are really a great addition from what I played. Sucks my kill counts reset as well as my DLC every time I log off but I have to admit Minigore has came a long way for what it's worth. That's one of the main reason's I enjoy Minigore because of the way I view it. Survival with a little bit of humor that is still being developed upon along the way. It's a game I hope MS continues to develop more in all aspects for a long while. May as well add Hardgore to Minigore as a mode(even if DLC). I do hope to see a patch in the next day or two if at all possible since the complaining is getting anyone anywhere at this point(including myself). What's done is done and I'm sure MS is on it as we speak to make things right. I do hope that updates start coming quicker though...the wait(s) is a bit ridiculous in comparison to other games with WAY more content that offer updates in shorter time-frames.
Um can the new fix update restore my stats. I had all of the guys up to enviro bear and had 43,000 kills to buy Santa gore.
If you can, restore your ipod/iphone with a back up you had previously. If you have set up your iTunes to automatically sync/backs up every time you connect be quick hit the 'x' button and slide the bar on your ipod the cancel the sync.
This is just lovely... I install it and its great, I can play with no lost stuff or anything, I can even see my old highscores by sliding in the highscores section.. I play 2 hours later and everything is gone! I lost over 990000 kills!!! I hadn't bought anyone cus I was saving up for sensai evan.. well now this has gone from my favorite app to my most hated, I was actually going to download the 2 DLC's too, but I decided, why not play one more round, eh? Now I wont by the DLC's, I'm deleting the app thats been on my FRONT page for weeks, even though the slow updates have been annoying since better games that came out FINISHED still add more than MS and they do it 100000000x quicker. I'm also going to complain to apple, because if I put this much time into a game, they shouldnt just be able to be such a JERK of a dev as to delete all our progress, if they dont even open an app before they distribute it, they obviously don't care about there customers.. If they did we wouldnt wait ten years for an update, only for it to SCREW up the game completely!!!!! Mountain Sheep will never get my money again.... and I hope they stop developing and learn that the only thing they should do is jump off a cliff.
At least mountain sheep is consistent, every update has bugs. Kudos to the 99 beta testers, good job.
yea right when i got it there was no problem. hadd all characters unlocked, my 50000 kills, and everything. Exited....played again....ALL characters gone....ALL kills gone.....fuuuuuck
they will tell that some changes were made in the last minute just before distribution... again, like the last time
Well this is probably the most useless comment I have ever seen. You actually think that Mountain Sheep did this on purpose just for laughs. They are not trying to be mean. Yeah yeah we know that they are not the fastest developers in the world actually far from it but atleast they try hard to give the best they can offer. (well, the bug isnt in the sacred offering but...) They will have everything back in running order very soon. Besides getting the characters again is fun because if you would have gotten sensei you would have nothing to unlock.
I would still have all the other characters, I got this game and every time I play it I work towards him, I just had John Gore, and have used him to get this far, trust me its been hard not to get the bear from enviro bear or Hookchamp.. and I'm not saying they did this on purpose, I'm saying they are careless, why would they release something withiout making sure it works, and doesnt have any major problems. I know they have a betatesting crew and everything, and if a glitch this big can get through a testing crew, the dev should at least try there app, on one of there iDevices to make sure it works, a dev that doesnt care, doesnt try, and if they cant see a bug that deletes everything despite them saying that they try there *best*, then obviously their best is just another junkie app clutering the appstore, that doesnt work and is a waste of money. If they tried their *best* they would at least play one or two games on there own device, to make sure the testers didnt miss anything major.. The devs I've tested for/with do more than there share of testing along with coding the game.... I didn't say they did this on purpose, but that they did this carelessly, they didn't think to check if their product was working right, and just released it because they wanted it to come out sooner so they could ultimately make more money than they already have off this unfinished product, that will probably be abandoned before episode 4 is ever finally finished, which if it does somehow happen, wont be til sometime late 2011....
