How about reading the last ten posts first, then posting your own comment. ;)

They should make at least an even 50k! :p

It's fair for what it's worth I guess. It will give me a jump start from what I had minus some characters. I will still keep my old 5* review until this new patch hits...it's only fair. I just hope this doesn't happen again. :(

I wonder if the Permissions in the minigore.dat file are not set correctly which would cause it to not update the save file. Hence when you close and re-open all progress is gone. I know permissions were supposed to be set for 775 in past versions. I'll look this evening and see if there is error there. If it is, I will change it and test the close/re-open loss of progress issue. Not to mention who all is unlocked. I'll probably backup my .dat file and plist from 3.6 onto my computer then compare it to the new one in the update and look for discrepancies. Then SSH the corrected files back onto the device

For those that are lost in what I am speaking of..."Jailbroken."

Depends. It "should" be a shorter process if they are allowed to submit it as an emergency update. That would expedite the approval process to a certain extent. I would imagine thats what MS would do as soon as they fixed whatever is causing the issue(s) at hand.

Just had a thought. People who had backed up their devices before the update (and didn't update Minigore in iTunes) can probably restore from backup. Make sure not to "re-backup" when you first hit Restore. That should bring you back to where you were before the update. Not sure if it would work, but it's probably worth a shot.

BTW: That help page also shows you were the backup files are kept, in case somebody wants to archive one for future use.

They have killed our fun. Many people invested a lot of time in slowly moving towards that 1 million thingie. It is the right answer to delete their app. They took our money and our time... - AND they delivered Bull...t.

    It's not our fault!

The betas don't override the normal Minigore, so there was no way to tell that this was going to happen!

    Use squarezero's suggestion. It works.

I think we all should write an email to Apple: Mountain Sheep ruined the App store experience and makes as thinking about jailbreaking our devices.
I guess - they will teach Mountain Gore.
