cool. That and the night mode make the next update worth waiting for! What happened to Jerry Gore and the grenade though
we haven't seen it yet if he does expect an early next week submission the betas are going to go nuts did you guys see the pic he posted of greybeast? if so what do y'all think of that
i am going to go against my mantra of no double post here but here it goes http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/4566/user19087pic20581256756.jpg one of our beta took a nice screen shot in night time hardland i think you all shoudl take a look
It doesn't look too different. I keep this game installed on the offchance that it gets an update that makes it alot better. Didn't the devs say they would keep making changes until people stopped purchasing it? Because the hype on this has really died and I just can't see that they will support it as much as they intended. I think the initial slooooooooooow first update fiasco pretty much killed this game although I hope I am wrong as it did seem to have so much potential.
How can it not look different? There is a HUGE pool of blood like substance underneath the furry creature. I think that looks pretty good.
that blood has always been there it is just gone so fast i really want to see a slow-mo thing ala Far cry to or killing floor so we can acutaly enjoy it
I'm so over this game already! I deleted it, never to be played again! Good 99cc though, I hope mountaingore can move on as well there is only so much you can do in genre like this!
here's so that you dont need to triple post in case you want to show something else EDIT: Nvm other ppl commented. And a genre is only limited by the imagination and the will of the developers and the people behind it, meaning minigore could still have ways to go
Minigore dev diary Just a quick post to show that we're not dead oliath: When the last thread was at it's highest post count the game had the poorest sales. Today it might look dead in terms of forum activity but in terms of sales and game development Minigore is doing really good. That old thread turned into a spam thread dedicated for flaming mostly so I don't really miss it much. Anyway, Minigore has been ranked at around number 50 on US paid action games since original Episode 2 was released several weeks ago. It also got featured in iTunes Halloween games few days ago so we're doing good: If you've followed our posts carefully you've seen almost everything that we'll be working on for the rest of the year: Zombies, weapons, levels, co-op, Jerry etc. We haven't forgotten about any of that stuff and we're constantly making everything more and more refined. For example here's Jerry: http://www.mountainsheep.net/minigore/TriggerFinger.avi If you look closely you'll notice his three health stages: He loses his helmet & glasses when getting damaged, helmet straps swing wildly while he runs etc. It's almost exactly as in the concept art. I think it's a really cool character because it's a combination of fan art & ideas (thepoisonivy and hdgreen) - and still fits the game perfectly. Some extra gore on that giant furry as it splits open. (another thing I've shown here before in more unfinished state) Cheers, Timo
Awesome. Thanks for the update Timo! I'm excited for the other updates planned for this game. Even if they take a long while... I'll still be excited for them. This game has never left my iPod ever since I bought it when it came out, and is probably one of my top 5 most played.
