you could say that personaly i would say that... If you are playing a game for highscores and not trying to enjoy the game for what it is than you are lost
Agreed, hence my reason for not playing it until that is fixed. My 30k score was earned fair and square in less than 20 minutes or so, not like those 70k+ scores who sat there for days not enjoying the game for what it was intended. I can't wait for the new updates.
I consider THE exploit used to get 70K scores a big eploit. No tactics involved only something that is curently broken.
i want them to fix it in the ep.3 and if they have to push a smaller update like ep.2 to fix it then they should
Meh... So the high scores are a cheat? Lame, I got my decent score fair and square... Hope they fix it Also on the update: I nice add on the radar but I don't really use it much. I did loooove the new full song, makes me wantto survive longer to keep listening. Hope the next updates come fast... Can't wait... *envies the beta team and wants in*
Unless its a different cheat from the one I know, its discussed in the posts and anyone willing to spend the time can easily find it. Plus, there is really no harm in disclosing it, since there are already 70k scores. I assume the cheat is based on the fact that there is a limit of furies that can appear on the screen at one time. So kill furies one or two at a time, only killing regular furies if there are zero flaming furies to kill. If your careful and insanely patient, you can probably keep the entire chase pack minus one or two non-flaming. When you turn the corners, its possible to safely shoot the flaming furies without hitting the non-flaming pack. I tried it and managed to get to 10k without dying, and got insanely bored. I assume this would take a ton of work to fix and dont expect them to do it. Obviously, it can be done - look to meteor blitz for example -- but to get there from here would be a big deal.
Its actually simple; if the normal furrys are too far away (off screen a ways) then have the code turn them into firefurrys.

Yep that's old news. Hey you know they should make a mode where there's only giant firefurrys coming at you; that would be so cool; what does everybody think?

It is cuz he did and at ArtNJ I was trying to keep that off the thread the less people who know the better and I do want the game to have an ignition animation for the non flaming furries turning into flaming furries
Perhaps the more people that know and complain, the more likely it is to be fixed. Keeping it secret wont make the 70k scores go away... Anyway, I can delete the secret if people feel strongly...
I feel strongly but I know the devs know from the betas but hearing how they community feels isn't a bad idea either
We feel strongly that any exploits that significantly reduce challenge level should be fixed. So don't expect to be able to camp out the furries indefinitely in the future.
