I just took a nap and I put Minigore under my pillow. I can't wait to show all my friends tomorrow.

Exactly. I will definitely buy it, it looks like great value for its price, but where does all this hype come from :D

"i feel like ranting more than usual because my tvs got cancer in it and it giving me a headache"

    hype or anxiety?

at first it got to a point where...yes...the hype was getting to be a little much. but thats just the same as any other "big title" undergoes prior to its release.

but then it just went from hype to.....chaos.haha it is apples fault tho...but since the approval took so long...people were just losing patience...getting anxious....getting mad...confused.

but as soon as it came out all that...uneasiness...was gone. did it live up to it all? do any of the "big titles" ever? its impossible thanks to the likes of us...haha BUT it did end being a very VERY good game that i am satisfied with....and probably most of the other peoples in this forum. im pretty sure the whole first 5 pages er whatever of "giddyness" is just....just because the wait is over.

    not a beta tester...not a developer....just a dude who likes a good quality game

    over n out

The "hype" has been fed by several factors:
    - The artwork, videos, screenshots, and gameplay hints for the game/episode 1 over the past few months.
    - The artwork, screenshots, and hints for all the features, options, new levels that are coming in the next episodes.
    - The prospect of Hardgore that will integrate and develop characters and story line of Minigore, in a hybrid game genre (shooter/tactical TD?)
    - The integration of other games/devs creations and artwork.
    - The goodwill the Dev has developped here by involving gamers in the genesis of Minigore episode 1 and the new features to come for the next episode.

I think that none of the hype is out of place, maybe there could be more of it, or it will increase now that the game has been released.

I got it and i like it. It is basically the same game as iDracular. There's no difference at all. But i prefer this better because of the art style. Its like lego-clone or Indiana Jones. Some people might prefer the Gothic art in iDracular. If the minigore screenshots don't look attractive to you, don't get it. Get iDracular instead, they are basically the same game, just different skin.

Bought the game. OH MY GOD! this is amazing. truly amazing. Until minigore came out i thought i would never stop playin idracula. I did. The artwork is just amazing, the voice of John is very cool, epic music, very nice feel of this cartoonish and twisted, yet fun world. The hype is explainable: the upcoming updates and screeenshots of them. people wouldn't get exited if devs weren't making tons of cool updates.
`This thing is as big as a bear! No, wait, it's bigger. Waaaay bigger...`-loved that! (goes back to minigore)

So far I like it. I never got Idracula cuz I dint like the lite version. I wasn't a fan of how slow ur guns usually shot. But this is pretty good. Simple, pick up and learn in about a minute game. Probably gonna go along my top quick game games with baseball slugger, drop7, and lock n roll and flight control.

I have the #80 overall score! Hellya!

Woke up today and checked the App store and it was finally approved :)

I've played it a few times. So far it's what I expected for the first release of the game. The developer has promised lots of great updates, that's one of the reasons I was excited about getting this game. There's going to be a co-op multiplayer update soon.

I got this quote from their blog:

"two-player co-op over bluetooth, a radar system to show where the furries are, the mysterious mushroom and more! Can you guess what the mushroom does?"

There's also a screenshot on there.

Some words on the game (I already posted on the article). Graphics and sound are just awesome. I also love the menu pictures, really artistic! The game plays perfectly and everything is fine for me (in this early version), EXCEPT: why are there obstacles, if you can run through EVERYTHING?! To be able to run though bushes, I completely understand….but stones and trees? This is really stupid… So please, let obstacles be obstacles and not just some graphics on a plain map.
And the explosion of the boxes could be much bigger, like a screen clearing bomb, that would make more sense, and you really would think about grabbing it or shooting it...now I always want the gun, since the explosion ist just lame... :)

    Otherwise great start!

IMO the bushes and rocks are there for 2 reasons: dressing up, and as visual obstacles. when you're trying to get rid of an army of onscreen furries, the biggest danger comes form those appearing unannounced from behind a bush, giving you limited time to react. It's one of the game elements that brings the most excitement and danger I find. if you would come to a halt every time you meet a bush or a rock, or if you couldn't hit furries behind a rock, it would get way too difficult.

as for the gun, I find it a big distraction and a big challenge to use without getting killed in the process or caught out during re-load time. The explosion kills a few furries, which helps, not too much, that would make the game too easy again. We are all to used seeing cars exploding in mushroom clouds as soon as they hit a fire hydrant at 20mph in US movies, I think a bigger explosion would be ridiculous, the crates just explode with a bit of ammo flying around...:D

It's a good game, but this is a bit disappointing. Co-op over wifi would be a lot better, at least then us Touch owners would also be able to get in on the coop fun.

Really polished effort here, a great pick-up-n-play game for the Tube on the way to work, any additional updates in the future will be a fantastic bonus for what is already a great time waster.

    Looking forward to Hardgore!
