not "crates", one (single) crate per game so at start you would have only 2 lives (like in 1.0) and you will find third live only after a while... and if you do accidentally blow it up, it will spawn again after another while so you will have another chance to get it
-i like the death animation. but i also have said before that i would like a switch to turn it off so that younger people and people that don't like it could play. then noone would have a reason to complain about not liking it. -estyst: just asking, what's your high score? i'm up to 14,070 and use the shotgun everytime it appears. just sayin. BUT, i do think it could use some more tweaking. like Jouni said, it should make you feel like a badass, but for a short time. personally i would make it much more powerful but last less than it does now (wider spread, more bullets) -i like the life the way it is, just don't see the need to put my bandana in a crate. i can see the appeal of what has been suggested, but i can also see it becoming aggrivating when i shoot it on accident and i need it NOW. ps. i use the openfeint on all the games that have it. my only gripe is that it starts on friends everytime instead of on leaderboards..
About the current discussion: Ammount of lives, if people want it, should be optional, an "appearing" crate would be increasing the luck factor in the game a bit too much, specially when you get hit just too early due to a mistake/accident, that could end your game quickly (that would be specially frustrating when trying to go for a new high score). In that I think It'd be more *everybody's happy* friendly if there were different modes for these options, due to the fact that they affect the high-scores and stuff that most players find attractive. But IMO it'd b too much hassle for something only some people have complained, kind of like with the 0 point discussion of the mini-gun early on. About the shotgun, yes, it is a problem, I used it happily while I re started playing, but now that I got a bit better, I just overall avoid it for all the reasons stated above. My problem with changing the shotgun, though, is more like a "look in the future" kind of thing, the mini-gun is an awesome weapon, how awesome will the shotgun will have to be to be better? And then, what about the grenade? The dash if you guys ever implement it? And in the end, if you superbuff them all, how will you guys rebalance the difficulty of the game? Since already as things are I saw a 1. spot of 60k points. IMO balancing them all will be a hard decision. Furries deaths, as I said some posts before, originally I didn't like them, now I just don't care, but I do remember liking the older ones better, so i think the option of being able to turn it off should be something available (if it isnt too much trouble). Other thing that I've found during gameplay is the actual range of the minigun, it is most noticeable when shooting downwards, when you do, you fire and fire at furries in the edge of the screen but these don't die, having to wait for them to come closer in order to start the killing, this happens also to the side and I find it frustrating because I've never liked the "dissapearing bullets" in the games. (Itouch 2g OS 3.0). Last but not least, the present luck factor really determines your ending score (at least for the "only decent"(not pro) players like me), sometimes I end up finding a giant firefurry when I'm at 8500, while another times I'm at 10500 points and none have poped up, these are hard enemies to deal with (for me at least, and I think they were made for that reason) so I think their appearances should me more point consistent. My 2 cents, hope the feedback helps. EDIT: forgot to say... Even with that, problems exist and can be dealt with over time, most of the problems mentioned (not counting the bugs) aren't really turning off the customers from the game, what I find most important is to keep up the development of the new stuff to keep people happy, more than over stressing over the details from each thing. Just compare the reaction of people if the next update is "omg the shotgun fires even faster!!" compared with "OMFG WORMWOLF!!".

You guys evaluate a .99 game with too much thought, sweat, and tears. Calm down now it's just a game you don't like it? Don't play it, it doesn't have to be adjusted to YOUR needs and change for everyone else. Nor should there be an option, not everything about a game needs to change or be adjusted because you don't like something (like the dying animation? Really? C'mon)
in alot of situations, people comment like this without any encouragement. but in this case, the devs asked for feedback and ideas. i'm sure they read through all of this, take what they like and think is doable, and ignore the rest. at the same time, it is their game and they can make it however they want. i like the beta i'm testing right now and would be satisfied just with that. but if they want ideas to continue to add to the game, i'm all for it.
i hope they fix the achievements. currently, if ur not connected to wifi when u unlock 2k/6k, u dont get the achievements and it doesnt update when u connect
Well, as the developer, I wasn't suggesting that we'd make a specific toggle for different dying animations, but that if there's going to be a bloodless "gore free" mode anyway this in itself solves the problem for some people. We're not designing our game with a committee, we are fully controlling the design but since several people have had strong views on the death animation it warrants another look. That said, we're ourselves evaluating this .99 game with much sweat and tears to be able to make sure we stand out in the marketplace. There are 15,000 game apps and with new ones coming out daily, meaning that less than 1% of all of them make any real money for the developer. I welcome even critical feedback when it helps us make the game better. The only reason anyone would care about a dollar game like this a month or two later is because *we* care.
When I flipped the screen around, I couldn't flip it back because the buttons wouldn't work right. I had to delete and then re-download it to fix the problem. Nothing too serious... well that is if you don't want to play with the screen flipped.
