Story mode... for a run and shoot game? Let's see how'd that play out... "I'm a secret agent, infiltrating the bad guys' lair." Boom-boom-bang. "To be, or not to be, that is the question." Boom-boom-bang. "Mum, is daddy coming come this Christmas?" Boom-boom-bang. "Oh Scarlet, lets have hot passionate... even though I've known your for a total of 27 minutes." Boom-boom-bang... well, I guess this works, but in a slightly different sense . "I'm a Canadian rapper with one hit single." A licky-boom-boom-doooown.
They made a group dedicated to the Minigore hype, called "The Minigore Jokers" http://forums.toucharcade.com/group.php?groupid=65
The game is pretty sweet! Nice graphics and presentation! BTW what's the difference in expert and normal mode? Just more creatures to kill?
Ok. Thanks BTW do u guys like open fient high score system? Personally i prefer a simple high score online leader board!
OpenFeint has its benefit especially for the social media part of it. But I do understand why many also like the standard online leader board to keep things simple. It really comes down to preference.
i just played 2 rounds er whatever you call it......its great! its even more than i was expecting. AND what i like about open feint is that for all the games that are supported by it(car mania, big top 10, and zombie shootout) are automically recognized once you sign up the first time.its smarter than i am.....like for minigore...and the other games.....i open up online and it signs onto my name.....pretty cool. and 1 more word about minigore....golden
Now I am even more curious. What a solid fanbase this game has and it hasn't even been a day yet. Perhaps, "he who controls the spice, controls the appstore". If spice is hype, then hype is might"
I can't say I fully understand the hype. Is it entertaining? Absolutely. Is it worth $0.99? Absolutely. But was it worth the massive amount of hype for something that broke no real new ground? Absolutely not. I don't regret spending my $0.99, and really do enjoy it (it reminds me more of a game called CrimsonLand, which I loved). I just don't understand how *this* became "game to get" these past months.
