expert is unlocked at 2000 kills. the level of difficulty is exactly the same as the old version before there. Assuming you can make it to 2000 kills expert will be unlocked for good. Why would you want to start on a diffuculty that is to challenging for you? Here is a tip to get higher scores: try walking backwards in a circle and shoot at the furries as they chase you. The majority of them will stay in front of you but watch your radar for the few that sneak up behind. Try this and i bet you will unlock expert in no time
i agree with you about 1.1.1 but its not going to have the grenade because timo hasnt finalized the eplosion. When he finalizes that he will put it into the beta then release it in episode 3
yea 1.1.1. was done before you yall got the bugged update. but they changed the description on episode three now it is about the boss unit (wormwolf) did we lose the nade?
I want to play on Expert because I find normal mode very, very dull. I put expert mode on almost immediately in the old version of the game and never looked back. I really can't be arsed to waste an hour or two of my life playing something I don't like in order to get back the mode I liked. Not that it'll be the same with the extra life they added in the update. Or is that just for normal mode? I just wish I could still play the old version, because that was awesome.
and improved furry sense so that is the clover and ammo on radar...possibly a orange mark around the firefurries on radar...another popular feature they might implement is auto-pause when you take your fingers off the joysticks
Hmm. Shouldn't he have that done by now? It was stated for episode 2 the first time episode 1 got regected (then they descided to add more features, the grenade included but later stated it would be in episode 3). Plus he removed it from the episode sticky post on the blog. If it was going to be in episode 3, why wouldn't ge just keep it there... I know your a beta tester and I'm not arguing with you; just speculating =)
I played three games if normal then went right to expert. I'd been so long that I really didn't mind having to play normal again. I breezed on to 4,000 in my first try in like 5 mins. Keep practicing; I know I do if I ever want to see the firefurry "AS BIG AS A BEAR!!! Wait, it's bigger... And on fire...way bigger... Oh shit I'm dead and there's drool everywhere. Jk
Ya i turned on expert right away in the old version also because once you get good normal mode is really dull. I assure you though that it actually takes less than 10 mins to get to over 2000 furries. All of us beta testers had to sit through normal mode again to unlock expert and insane the first time we played it also. The main reason that expert is locked is that once you unlock expert or insane you begin the game with the score needed to unlock that level. This means that every game that begins on expert mode will start with 2000 furries killed and 6000 furries killed for insane mode. This is done so that the leader boards will more accurately represent skill because as im sure you know it is harder to get 2000 kills on expert than it would be on normal in 1.0 version. I think that once you unlock the two harder modes you will appreciate that your score starts higher and not from zero allowing you reach higher scores than before. The extra life is available at all levels of difficulty which is nice because you will soon notice that starting on expert means you begin with 2000 kills and three lives. if you start at normal mode you get the same three lives and less kills. Played seven games and haven't got 2,000 points. Seven games of something I don't even enjoy to try and unlock a mode that may approximate a game I loved that's now been taken away from me. I'm glad so many people are enjoying this update, but the game's obviously no longer for me.
The update completely broke my game. The app will launch but none of the menu buttons work. No prompt for open feint no nothing.
