How sure are you Mr. Beta tester. This is what I meant before, do you know something we don't? If there's something to be had, I'm pretty sure everyone would appreciate a video or screenshots. back on topic again: I'm getting the idea that maybe they can explain the minotaur idea also. I mean we know he turns into that after 3 cloves and explanation would be nice....ideally in a comic style..that would be awesome. Like a sheet of a comic strip and then focusing on different areas to tell the story. i think that would go along with the same art. thoughts?
Not trying to derail here, but since when has PocketGod ever been epic? The way the devs stuck to their word about frequent updates is definitely admirable (especially compared to MG), but as far as the game/app/whatever it is being epic, i'm not so sure. 'Epic' is kind of a strong word.
Does anyone have any achievment ideas? some new ideas *minataurs per game *furries hit with bomb *clovers collected
Yeah, i didn't quite get that either. Good, but not exactly epic. Maybe purchase both of them, onewithchaos? Just saying, since you said you don't have either.
Oh, Im using the word epic in response to this article by TA: "Pocket God's army of fans is a phenomenon that many developers have attempted to duplicate. The amount of spinoff sites and communities all because of this one iPhone game is absolutely mind boggling. I admit I don't really get it myself, but the number of people who are in love with Pocket God borders on unbelievable. If you've never played the game before, it's worth picking up, especially since with 26 updates under its belt it will likely take you a very long time to discover all the different things that can be done." Thats why I used "epic." If it's wrong, my apologies it just seemed to be the best word to describe it based on its fanbase.
Well pg is epic compared to mg! At least the pg's devs are competent enough to know how to put an update out without being derail by bugs! Incompetent programming is not an excuse!
Yea you're right, I have not purchased either but I do often read PG's threads and as i mentioned above my reason for describing it as epic was that and also I found the reason why I used "epic" this person is what prompted me to use "epic" ;b
I know there's a screenshot and video of snow levels and of the upcoming episode 2 with the insane mode. Aside from that are there any more I'm missing, which is what I was getting to?
You do make good points and have interesting ideas, especially considering you don't actually own Minigore. @BeachMusic: I don't think it's epic compared to Minigore, but dev wise, yeah, they can put out updates. Though i do kinda agree with you, BeachMusic.
We've already discussed this beachmusic. The fact now remains that people want to see some proof of the updates. But even then, updates could take forever. Look at Javier's Quantum Collapse, his update took over 3 months to get approved. That aside, as I keep stressing I think that rather than hear from beta testers ( no offense to anyone) I think everyone would agree that hearing from Timo, and what they're working on would be the best soludion. Yes we know you're working hard but maybe a glimpse to us non-beta testers. just saying...
Thanks, yea I dont really plan to get Minigore or PocketGod. I bough iDracula and the lack of story really turned me off it. I didnt see the point of seeing how many people I could kill so I stopped playing. The fact that those round things with spikes didnt' seem to do anything didnt do much help. I bought Dark Raider with the hope of having a nice story in a twin-stick shooter but it was an epic Fail (for me!!) I liked Minigore and have been following a lot of their stuff but I'm not going to buy it unless I see a product that I like rather than glimpses of it. My suggestions are really things I'd love to see, if anything some rpg elements much like sparta or zombieville, and a story. I usually have just a few minutes to play, so games with no auto-save are a big turnoff for me. The way I think, why would i play a game where I see no progress (pg or mg) when I could play games that are mission oriented and save really well: quantum collapse, geoDefense swarm etc. It all comes back to the type of gaming I'm into. Again going back on subject: I would buy this game if there was something more that appealed to me, but as someone who hasnt' bought it I see nothing other than a watered-down iDracula with a lack of updates. I've been trying to be constructive in this thread and provide some insight to both parties but that is my personal opinion. If some bosses and different game type (campaign) would be implemented it would be an instant buy for me since the graphics look so nice already. That aside, I'm just gonna go ahead and take credit for ending the off-topics and flame wars that were going on.
he took down the radar thing guess that means you guys can't see the new wormwolf (wormy looking think)
Why isnt that in the front page??? what the heck? you guys do realize that not everyone who comes into this topic can read through Everything right? I like! See it's stuff like this that needs to be posted frequently along with constructive criticism to really make this thread useful. Of course everyone is also free to share their opinions regarding the length of updates, etc. I mean heck its all a free world guys just be glad you all have gaming joining you together. @goldglover411 , post some more, I'd love to see more. It's hard to find them hidden in this thread. Someone should also add them to front page.
i lol'd at this. I was gonna post something like this earlier kudos buddy and yea, like i said. Post more info and pics, because quite honestly this thread is long enough that new people coming just see the complaining and leave rather than read about new ideas, new screenshots, new proposals, etc

lol thanks i know Squirt prob knows that. i just find it annoying when ppl critique PG like its a Game
