Maybe, I just started following the thread...today. Havent read through pages but there has been a lot of ranting, there should be 2 threads. One: the Minigore thread. The other:the Agony Minigore Update Thread

Good points from Sizzla. I mean all this is for a tweak update, what happens when it's time to wait for a real update? What happens when it's Hardgore's turn?

    yeahhh.......

I bought MG in the first few days of arrival on the app store expecting an "episodic game" like pocketgod as well... this has been a disappointment.

I think people may give you a rash because you only spent a dollar but... think of all the hype that the devs have splattered on this site without keeping the episodic promises. When you multiply the dollar you spent with the dollar I spent and everyone else here who's slobbering like Pavlov's dogs... I think Mountain Goat has to live up to some expectations already.

And to be fair: Apple isn't here to defend themselves either. How do we know the first couple submitted apps weren't just plain broken?

Don't you all feel a bit had? What if "apple never approves this fantastic update"?

I think it's a scam - intentional or not - some devs need to stop hyping stuff like this.

Be prepared for the huge expectation for the next update. And more severe delays.............

Is anyone here really going to buy Hardgore given the way this dev operates?

can this thread just get deleted..its come to the point where its just ridiculous ranting/MG diehards defending Mountain Sheep. the only person ive seen make some valid points is Sizzla [i read like 3 pages back, forgive me if i dont feel like going through 300+ pages of nonsense] anyways, for all you MG diehards who are defending the devs, do u not get the point Sizzla and others who share his opinion are saying? this game was released as EPISODIC. you know, like Pocket God, only PG devs actually put out updates [like 27 since jan] yes i can see that Apple rejected it..but..that excuse only goes so far. its been months now..im not buying into the sham anymore..MG imo is becoming borderline false advertising. sorry but i loved this game when it first came out. now i dont touch it..like..ever..and even with the coming update its not g2b all that great. yes i understand they want to make sure everything else is balanced but..im almost starting to believe the folks at MS arent really working all that hard to push these updates through..let the flaming war begin

This thread surely has become an insult battlefield.

EDIT: and everyone here defending minigore (like me) aren't automatically diehard MG fans. I like the game, but I'm still not a serious fan or anything. And MS may not be working very hard for the update, but they also may. We can't know. There can happen anything we don't know about. Or nothing.

Indeed, and Pocket God have had at least 3 times where their submission was rejected for BS reasons with long delays. Same with other devs. I think some devs need to be realistic and know that if they can't hack the episodic model, to just come out with one game and be done with it. All the hype backfired badly.

I DO NOT care if this game ever gets updated it still remains one of my most played games on my device. Nobody should ever buy games on the promise of updates or added content or whatnot, it's been proven time over time it's not a smart thing to do. If you bought the game hoping it would be crammed full of stuff then it's your own damn fault. Never buy on promises, buy the product that is out in front of you. If you don't like it in the state it's in, then don't buy it yet, wait and see if something changes but don't sit her complaining about it. Every year the cubs fan "think" they are going to win the world series because the media and the team says they are, has it happened, nope.

How about the devs just not promise, the lesson should have already been learned that the appstore approval process cannot be relied upon.

I still play minigore alot also. :D

Not really, cause A4E has updated twice already and came out a month after minigore, so I'm not sure how much you can blame apple for that. Plus they rejected the first update, meaning its not apples fault either but the devs.

this is just my opinion. But since they keep showing bits of functions, i think they should put all that into the update after this one to keep people happy. That way no one can complain that they've promised something that they havent delivered because everything they promised would be delivered in this one update.
So i'd love to see the snow level and the zombie level especially since its so close to halloween.
It seems to me that they get an idea and do something on it and then get sidetracked with another idea leaving the first half finished.

+1000... At the end of the day, MG is still without a single update, and it's been more than 2 months since its release. None of that would matter if we weren't promised frequent, episodic updates (which were a huge reason behind the ridiculous hype). This has been sizzla's point from the very beginning, and although not everybody has to like it, the fact is that it's pretty much undeniable at this point. Yes, Apple's approval process blows, and yes, developing is by no means an easy task, but after more than 2 months without even the first mini "update", Mountain Sheep's credibility is looking pretty shot.

I'm not sure if any of this was intentional, but at this point it's hard not to feel like i've been lied to.

Just writing "fail. lol" with no explaination whatsoever, makes your post a complete and utter EPIC FAIL.
