I hope that the Co-op will be in the Episode 3. I send my mail for the beta, I hope to bein the 99 players =)
Thanks, it worked! I got an even higer score now... haven't beaten my 11k point score in a month and today I did it twice, haha. New record is 18k, im placed 15.
Yes, I think there's something fishy going on. Either Mountain Sheep are not being completely truthful or they're incompetent. There can't be some vast Apple conspiracy to keep Minigore down. Again, I purchased this, so I feel like I have the right to complain about broken promises. At this rate it really will be the new year before we start to see things promised within weeks of launch.
Come on folks, do you really feel like you all haven't gotten at least $.99 worth of fun out of Minigore? Is all the skepticism against the developers really necessary? I'm looking forward to the updates just as much as everyone else, but even if they never come out, Minigore is still one of my favorite games on the App Store. In fact, I even bought Episode 1 thinking that Episode 2 was going to be an additional $.99.
I think that everyones gotten thier 99 cents out of it so even if there are no more updates everyones gotten thier moneys worth. Now with the updates that I do believe are coming, well, their just gonna make a good game great. So people please have alittle more patience after all I mean Rome wasn't built in a day.
Look, to answer why would be strictly conjecture, and I don't know how that helps, but maybe because they bit off more than they could chew code-wise...Timo has shown great art, but that's it. I haven't seen any video of all of these great features we've been promised since pre-release. I have a feeling that their vision may outweigh their skill. That's all I can come up with, because I can't remember a game with more hype pre and immediate post release than this one, and they've ruined it by not fulfilling their promises. And to the later posters who are saying we all got our $.99 worth, that's not the point. Of course the game as it is is worth a buck. But it's not the game we've been promised. As I've said many times before I'd happily have paid more at launch for a complete game. As it is now, this isn't even in the top 5 twin-stick shooters in the app store. And I'm convinced that we're not getting the whole story. The process has simply been TOO LONG. Thousands of games and updates have made it through since MG launch. It cannot all be Apple's fault.
Mini Gore was suppose to come out in "Chapters" and at this rate all the other future chapters will end up being in chapter 2.
I think the continued popularity of this thread and the constant display of frustration posted here proves it has not been "too long." people are obviously upset with the wait but still hungry for the game and as active as ever in it's discussion. Even the fact that people still post opinions against this game shows that it has not been too long because as they say in hollywood any publicity is good publicity. When it has been too long this thread will die naturally but as more people come to TA every day and see minigore dominating conversation. More fans (and critics) will arise.
At this rate I feel like I wasted a dollar. Although I know it's coming, and how much work you've put into it most of us have been waiting from July/August, and that's why we're getting impatient. Please just do Hardgore complete from word 'Go', the only other game doing chapter gaming is Pocket God and that's only supported by children who spend too much time on the internet and each have their seperate pocket god website. :/ [EDIT: Don't flame me. Just is a bad mood atm.]
Well, just look at Quantum Collapse, a game not as popular as Minigore, but the update has been in review for about 3 months and still no reply by apple. So yea, I think that Apple CAN take too long. And I honestly do believe there might be some conspiracy on Apple's part. At first I thought it was just Quantum Collapse, maybe some conspiracy on this game as well... But for what its worth, a heck of an overhyped game this Minigore was.... EDIT: you could be right too, even the Quantum Collapse dev showed us a video of the updates that were coming, and you're right we've seen nothing from them.
They did post a video with the gameplay showing the furry radar, and the new features. I remember seeing it.
They did? Well, I just went into this thread and read what sizzlakalonji was saying and I had my two cents to say about that. I guess this will just be filed under "conspiracy retention of app updates" It really bugs me, seeing other games' updates getting approved so fast and other taking FOREVER
I'm not talking about the furry radar. I'm talking about the REAL updates. The furry radar has already been submitted at least twice, so of course video is available for that. I'm talking about co-op and these new maps, and all of the other features that we've been strung along with. All I've seen is nice art.
