exactly. If apples approval process was anything above abysmal then alot of games out there would be so much better. And minigore would probably be upto episode 5 by now with all the content the guys have.
It's a shame, it was meant to unfold one episode at a time, each adding deeper gameplay, options, features based on player feedback, and a developing storyline, and at the same time slowly revealing some of the characters and the world of Hardgore. Thousands of new gamers would be drawn to the game every so many weeks until Minigore becomes a global phenomenon to dwarf PG. We're still getting all of that, but instead of it being delivered one episode at a time the Apple-review-process-beast just throws up chunks here and there, swallowing some of it back only to vomit again with whatever got stuck in its ugly throat a few weeks later. There should be an Apple-review-beast in Minigore as a Boss so we can unleash John Gore on him!
It's interesting though, how other games (and Pocket God) are able to accomplish regular updates and episodic updates. Don't you ever question why this particular game with ALL of the promises just hasn't gotten it done? When bad things happen to the same person over and over again, after a while they should stop looking to other people for fault, and start looking in the mirror. I just want to head off any possible retorts by saying it has nothing to do with cost. I would have paid much more for even SOME of the features that have been promised for literally MONTHS. Pretty pictures and screenshots can only get you so far. I stand by what I said before...it will be next year before this even approaches what they promised us from the beginning.

It's not even about Timo...he's the artist. I think there's something up with the programmers...why can't they get a working update out, when others are flying out with the quickness. And to be honest, I probably have only posted 20 or so times in here...but I know I'm not liked by most here. I just honestly feel like someone has to blast through the hype and play devil's advocate once in a while.
Just because I happen to like a game makes me a fanboy? I mean honestly, that would mean absolutely every game I like makes me a fanboy for that particular item. I have stated once in this thread what I do dislike about this game. However, unlike you, I have stated it once and am done with it. I do not obsess over what I dislike and can move on from it. And like Midian stated, you apparently visit this thread way more than some of the "fanboys" do.
It can be very difficult to get an application through review. There is no checklist that one can go through to ensure that one's update is accepted. My application update was in review for 32 days. I called every contact I had, and emailed others. Finally I received a phone call telling me that the update had been rejected for using the keyword "brainteaser" because it is the name of another application. Apple could have rejected the app when they first noticed this after maybe 1-2 weeks in review. Instead, the app stayed in review for 32 days for who knows what reason. Who knows how much longer it would have been in review had I not called EVERYONE.

I'd say I can dispute your points, you just won't like my dispute. It's basically: I don't care, 'cause I find the game fun regardless of the dozens of negative points people come up with. But then on the same token, the stuff you say is true. I would like more content, and I'd play it much more if it was there. At the moment I only play about once or twice a week, which isn't much... but it's fun nonetheless. So you can say what you like about the dull, monotonous gameplay, but as long as I enjoy it I see no reason to go on a hype-destroying rampage. After all, it's not our duty to tell people what to like and what not to like, if they want to find out for themselves and form their own opinions then more power to them.
Point taken. I actually do like your dispute, because there are games I like just because (Ice Road Truckers, Killa Kitties From Compton) that other people think are garbage. I'm movin' on to another thread. My post count here was like a splash of cold water in the face.
@sizzlakalonji although i agree that minigore in its current state is bare, i do not like how you keep saying that you would have paid $10 for a finnished app, when you are a teacher and most of us here are teens that have to go to college and dont earn anywhere near what you earn. And frankly you should be glad u have a job aswell, and thats probabpy the reason for the madness about 59p games. I also agree that maybe these screenshots and promises we get are not 100% truthful or anywhere near to being complete. I mean look at the grenade and co-op both have been in the pipeline for a while now bt non have been seen in action or for that matter been metioned that they re anywhere near completion, only timmo and betas can dissagree. Personally, i love eerything that has been done and that has been promised to be done, and im sorry if timmo took offence to this post, and maybe the delay is due to the 3d engine and all but i dont know and frankly know nothing about games on the development side so i cannot comment.
