Minigore never crashed on me but there were those occasional freezes.........Strange!!! other games with much better gfx like SuperCross or modern combat never froze
Santa has learned quite a bit of techical jargonage in the past months. He can tell you folks the smaller Gore was run on OS 3.0 when it crashed at Apple's. In all likelihood the same bug you have been encountering is in question. Sending crash logs to Mountain Sheep is the way to verifying that.
This game's great. But i don't understand why it's so hyped? The upcoming thread had 360 pages, this has 250. Why? It looks like a plain old regular 1 dollar game to me. yes it is good, but please explain: WHY SO POPULAR? WHY SO MUCH HYPE? lol.. I really don't understand. Alive 4 Ever is better, and this is kinda like iDracula. It has only one map.
Active devs posting (more than once or twice a month) to TA + many free planned future updates in a 1-3 week schedule cycle = TA member interest. Examples are Pocket God and Harbor Master. Those threads receive a lot of attention as well.
Well why isn't iBlast Moki getting so much interest? The only thing I see different is that the updates will be about a little spread apart, but I think the quality of the original product outlasts that of Minigore or Pocket God.
It's like Santa Claus. People want to believe in it. I can't believe a game that has promised so much while delivering so little is still CONSTANTLY on the front page of this forum. Even Pocket God, which isn't even a game, has had multiple updates. This has delivered a whole lot of pretty pictures, wallpapers, promises, and basically nothing else. Now flame on, since I know that dissenting opinions in here are as welcome as news of yet another update delay.
Not only that, it keeps interest up. Much like the way you see with television series like 24 and Lost (or HBO and Showtime series). Release new episodes back to back with less reruns, interest and discussion stays high. You don't do that and people kind of forget much like Rolando 2 and Real Racing. Two very good games but with the infrequent updates and devs that are not nearly as active as others interest wanes at least in a forum sense, with fewer and fewer posts as time goes by. Both those titles had a lot of activity before and right after release and now there are hardly any new posts for them that I notice barring the infrequent updates. EDIT: To tell you the truth Brazilian I have never heard of that game until you mentioned it. Looking at the video it looks very fun. That is a game I'll have to try. However it isn't out yet and if the devs are active here at TA and plan on lots of updates I can see it getting a rather big following.
Minigore keeps on crashing after i upgraded to 3.1!!! The nerve of apple they should've rejected their own update! Shit will hit the fan if apple rejects the new update because it's crashes with 3.1!
That's why I always wait a couple months after the new OS update is out, so the game devs can play catchup with Apple New OS always breaks s***.
What's the beef apple? You have the nerve to disregard the dev's effort but won't put any work in testing your own freaking update. I read somewhere the apple is leaving devs in the forest... it's true and what arrogance!
sorry this game is soooo overhyped its ridiculous. Its a straight rip from iDracula but lacking 10x the content and depth. I don't get it. Even with updates why is this game getting so much attention?
And they don't have to. It's called backward compatibility, and they can do it especially since they're such a big company (on top of their ability to roll out updates so often).
anyone noticed that backwards compatiblity has seemed to go the way of Say Beta Max or what ever, with big commpaines like with the DS-i microsoft word now apple updates?
