To be fair to him Attack, the point still stands that as customers, all we can see are other games updated far more frequently that are enjoying the same sales figures as Minigore has.

For a largely hyped game that has profited from the pre-release and even post-release hyperbole, from a customer's point of view the developers have not lived up to the promise of actual content, rather than just an engine, a map and a few enemies.

Despite how hard they may be working on additional updates, it has gone far too long without bearing any tangible fruit, updates of which could have been submitted two or three times over by now. And for a developer working on these updates full-time, it does raise questions and doubts for your everyday customer who isn't as informed as some of us here may be.

Personally, I'm quite baffled that a sizeable content update hasn't been put through the approval pipeworks yet.

Are we gonna compare every good game that comes out to minigore from now on? It's getting really old. :p Kind of like a yo momma joke or something that people just throw in there because they cant think of anything else. -_-

Know what this why minigore is like this, you guys are already satisfied with what you have thus the demand for action is always countered by blind faith defenders. You have been patient enough but patience do have its limits.

Lmao. Where did I say I was a minigore lover. I just said I was tired of the constant comparisons to minigore. I thought if i saw another a4e comparison I'd puke. Can't people all just move on to something else? Like I said before it's getting quite old. :(

I'm 14 and I've moved on to other things, like Run!. Whenever the update comes out; I'll be enjoying every bit of it; yes I hate people accusing games as a "clone"; am I a minigore fanitic? No; I haven't touched the game in over a week.

So you think Minigore's only for 12 year olds?
Seriously, you're the 12 year old if you actually believe that.

To keep you guys on the loop:

We are very hard trying to talk to Apple about what's going on but it's not the easiest thing in the world to get a response from them. Everything else that Chillingo has submitted during this time has gone through. I think the update is in some kind of limbo, we'll submit the new version next week.

New Episode 2 includes everything from earlier Episode 2 (third health, furry radar, better shotgun etc.) and at least the following features:
    Latest OpenFeint
    Several achievements
New difficulty curve and insane mode (the menu system is revamped so you don't have to go into options to change difficulty)
    Flaming furries
Few gameplay issues are fixed (firing close by furries had a bug etc.)
Improved enemy deaths (killing is more satisfying)

John Gore's grenade ability might need a bit more playtesting, so I'm not 100% if it makes it into next weeks update.

It's almost 8 AM and my brain isn't functioning as usual so I could be forgetting something but that's most of the features.

Thanks for the heads up Timo. John Gore is a swaying maniac! So when will we see Lizzie and Ninja Man slinging guns in Minigore? I was hoping to see a Furry as a playable character in Sway as well. Or even better, I'm sure Anders might be able to suggest to Readyfireaim a Furry level in which you have to dodge animated furries as you swing from platforms trying to reach the goal. Now that would be awesome!

    TIMO!!! Thanks!
As far as better furrie death, please make the blood splatter better. That is the ONLY thing I liked in A4E, before I deleted it. Again, like in the old Running with Scissors game "POSTAL", blood stained snow would be awesome in hardgore!!! PLEASE! :D It's just too cartoon-y /2D-ish right now, and doesn't fit with the great graphics in the rest of the game imo.

Wow Timo just oppened up the clouds any rays of sunshine just rained in. Glad to finally hear something besides rumor and speculation. i feel fiarly confident that the next update will push through with great sucess. Insane mode adds a lot to gameplay and will be a great addition. Hoping to see an update within the next two weeks. :D
