Looks fun, but the only update that I ever saw was "Bryan will work on Unmarked after Geared HD is finished"
In 2009 Bryan and I had a clear vision of Unmarked. The game was about GTA I & II inspired police chases in procedurally generated city environment. Unfortunately Bryan got pretty busy with Geared so it never materialized much further. Unmarked also never had a proper development budget. The tongue in mouth story went something like this: An expedition to Antarctica makes the find of a century . They find a robot hidden under the ice cover. There's a man inside the robot who awakens. The stranger is captured and locked away in a cage with animals. The valuable robot is disassembeld and its parts sent to laboratories around the world for closer inspection. In the heat of the night the stranger escapes with the help of an ox which is being held in a nearby cage. Together they steal a car and escape. He wants his robot back! This target render is probably the last thing I did on Unmarked, it's dated 25th 11. 2009 so vintage material right here: No work has been going on this project for nearly two years, so don't expect it to magically appear on the app store. I already had a chance to try out some of the ideas on Death Rally. (Analog stick driving, the police chase in prologue, comic storytelling etc.) I personally consider the project "cancelled" or "frozen" but I really hope Bryan finishes it one day Or maybe we should do a kickstarter for it to get some funding
