Yes, that was implied, considering it has not in fact been released. I forsee them as being both so awesome that it will in fact be difficult to pick a favorite.

Found another glitch, Jouni... Stats and voices are not translating correctly when you switch characters in the middle of a game. I recently unlocked Kid Gore. When I switched back to John Gore, the voice of Kid Gore remained while I was playing with John. I had to quit the app/hit retry to get the voices to switch. This is also applying to stats. When I went from John Gore to Kid Gore, Kid still had John's leveling (which I have at level 10) even though Kid is not upgraded at all. So, if you switch characters in the middle of a game (at least with Kid and John) then the voices and stats do not switch over.
The smoothness and fluidity of this game are simply unmatched in the dual-stick category. So are the art, soundtrack and voices. This applies to the original Minigore as well, except here we have about 20x more content. This game is a real masterpiece. I'm glad you took your time with it. I hope Jenny Gore gets her own voice. Might be hard to get right, but there's potential for something hilarious.
Not sure about this, but that fast headless zombie is sometimes so fast that it gets between "point" where bullets come out of and your character making you unable to shoot him. There's no kickback caused by a gun like it should be... EDIT: Forgot to add, is that by design or possibly a bug?
I guess that the huge head falling off takes a lot of weight off the knees, cuz boy oh boy, do those bastards haul ass when they get decapitated.
I am still awaiting to keep playing. Is there anyway to play without the crash? Iphone4s. It will not start at all for me at all
We might be *very* close to the update being live, so a little bit of patience. Unfortunately besides losing or restoring progress from backup, no other workarounds.
Thanks for the report - we had just found the same one, Jerry sounds quite wrong (if somewhat amusing) at high pitch. The workaround for this one at least is reasonable, most people finish sessions on the characters they begin with. We're fixing this for next update.
