Hey MS can we have a horde mode, like endless waves of regular zombies spawning, and you have a timer in the corner indicating how long you have survived for then points are awarded for how long you survived, It might be nice as an unlock when you complete the game. Just an idea though
Game Impressions Reposted/Added more things so Devs can see Hello to all. I just bought this game yesterday, and must say, I really am loving this one. Let me share what the good and the bad are in this game. Good: Challenges-They make me want to keep playing Minigore, it makes me want to come back and achieve everything, where in Minigore 1, the only thing you earned was coins. Bosses-The bosses are generally hard to beat, adding an extra difficulty to trying to beat the game, making me want to play to beat them even more. Money Flow-The amount of money you earn per match seems to be perfect. Not too much to the point where I can unlock everything, but not too little to the point where I must buy iAP's. Graphics-Much improved from Minigore 1. I really like the blood animations. More maps Bad: Not enough explanation-Have a guide that tells me what is what, and such. Lag-Only happens on my iPhone 4, not iPad 3. A bug where when reentering a map, if there is cash on the ground and the intro is still going on while you collect the money, the money doesn't count. Suggestions: Co-Op-PLEASE ADD CO-OP, PREFERABLY ONLINE, NOT LOCAL (But make a local choice too please ) iCloud Sync-Please make a choice to sync data between devices! I would love this so much! Minimap-A map in the top right (optional) of a layout of the map, showing where I am in the map. A home screen, instead of just jumping straight in the zombie killing (again, optional) Endless Mode Campaign
I agree: those who defend the crashing are not exactly thinking straight. Outside of the crashing (a.k.a EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT TGE GAME), the game is awesome, and I think THAT is what people want to draw attention to. Similar to how Magicka was released with TONS OF GAME-BREAKING BUGS on release, and yet was an insanely fun game with a unique combat mechanic (spell-casting by element mixing). So just because Minigore 2 has some bugs, that's enough to call it the spawn of Satan? I don't think so. Yes, the crash bug is a negative, but the positives, as people noted, are numerous and almost overwhelming. Also, AAA console games made by giant studios can still have some massive game-breaking bugs. It has less to do with the number of the devs and more to do with the quality of those devs. Also, if a cartridge game back in the days of the NES or SNES had game-breaking bugs, gamers then did not have the ability to organize on the same scale that we do now. They simply moved on to games that worked and continued to have fun. Also, one more example of a one-man team making an awesome game: Iji http://www.remar.se/daniel/iji.php This. Game. Is. Amazing. Think 2-D System Shock.
-They already said that COOP is very difficult. 150 zombies at once, and the game must refresh their positions by downloading the data from both devices every loop. I'd like to see it added, but it seems to be almost impossible. -I'd like to see iCloud too. -No, just no. I don't want to have the screen full of buttons and such, and a minimap here is useless anyway. Maps are small and ammo/enemies indicators are more than enough. -Why? -Game is already "endless". Keep playing the same level over and over again and it will become more difficult. -This is a mindless shooter, just like the first Minigore. It doesn't need levels with story and cutscenes. Campaigns in DSS are often very boring. BT's was cool though, but I can't see MZ with large levels and such. IMO this game can only be improved by adding more weapons, levels, enemies, bosses and characters.
I have a feeling they do have different stats. I upgraded the starting four to the max and I think some are a bit faster.
1)Maybe for coop, the can reduce the amount of zombies. I haven't read every page of the thread, so I don't know what's been said. 2)Agreed 3)That's why it's optional feature. Personally, I would like to know when I'm in the corner of a map before I'm there 4)I just do, I don't know why, but I do. 5)That's like saying (CoD reference here) that Tranzit is the same as Survival. I would like continuous waves upon waves upon waves. I get what you are saying, this Is hard to explain, but if they can figure it out, I would be appreciative. 6)I can, maybe where you play as young John and we play through how it all goes down, or something. I agree with that, but I feel some more additions would be nice too. In mg 1, they PROMISED online multiplayer(fairly certain about this). I would like to see the feature in the new one. Also, the level designer was mentioned a while back too.
The iTunes password thing is a result of an open loop we had after the Restore Purchases button was pressed. Basically it'll keep trying to restore and make sure you have your purchases, even though you already do... This bug is fixed in the first update, until then you can safely hit "cancel" every time.
Hey, not everyone likes all our games but glad you enjoy these. Seems reasonable enough, but we'll have to see where it fits with the overall plans and development cycle. I can see how this could be fun. I'll pass the suggestion on to the team. Agreed, getting pause to work is a little annoying. We'll see if something can be done. I'll pass this suggestion along as well. No promises, but feedback is always welome.
Things like this happen on a case by case basis, but also creates a few issues in portability etc. and could mess with our future plans if the owners of said characters weren't playing along. Still, I agree, those would be fun to have around again.
We're investigating stuck challenges, I got the "survive two days" challenge stuck on my session too, so now we can look at what's going on.
Well spotted. One of the coders confirmed this bug, so expect it to be fixed soon enough. The other suggestions are all noted, although I wouldn't get anyone's hopes up about the co-op.
I apologize if this was already posted before in this thred, but is complete iPod touch 4 support coming? (I did see that it works for some people)
iPod touch 4 is officially not supported due to its memory limitations, it's really difficult for us to guarantee that the game would run well on this - or, at all - but many people have reported that it works well. We can't make any promises on how future versions will perform, once we start to add new content, but it might continue to work.
Alright! Thank you for the quick reply, and even if it doesn't work, I'm getting an iPad Mini really soon. It does work on that, right?
Same here i have the "Sunny Lake Survival 1" that i need to survive two days and in that map i'm on night 4 and still nothing Well Jouni hopefully some of the feedback i gave could be include specially the young baron model Continue the good work i have enjoy most of your games (ice rage, minigore 2, bike baron, death rally) the only one that was good but no good enought was the first minigore in the lack of a progression feel like this one have as the more zombies on screen Edit: one thing is there any plans to maybe port bike baron to the pc?
I know this has been asked (any may have been answered) before, but are we given a score at the end of each game? How can we check our high scores?
