Indeed, we found this issue as well - basically the "restore purchases" loop remains open and the app tries to do that every time after you press the button once, which is why it asks for the password. That one is not fatal, it's just a bit annoying. The bug with the game closing on start-up is the big one and this has been also fixed and submitted to Apple. We're all eagerly waiting for that to go through, sorry for the inconvenience.
Just a small request: could you please bring back a crazy music when you are in monster mode ? It was making the feeling to be even more powerfull and added some craziness!
Glad you like the game so far, and sorry to hear you got hit. Unfortunately I don't know of any specific way of avoiding the bug *but* clearing memory by rebooting always helps reduce crashes especially on limited memory devices. If we come up with a specific workaround or safe way to play, we'll be sure to post it here while we wait for the update to go through Apple's review. I think so too.
No promises but a good request and definitely a wish-list item for me, too. We can all use a bit of craziness every so often. Minigore 2 is such a calm and relaxed game most of the time...
We haven't made any code publicly available, we're only a 3 man team, but we would be happy to help if we can. Might be easier if we email, then we can follow up with you if our implementation doesn't make sense.
Thanks for the reply! I think I'll reinstall now and hope for the best. I mean, the game is so much fun, really keeps me from playing this weeks releases ....and I just want to play some more Loistavaa.. Ootte mahtavia!
Ok two questions in the first gore can everything be unlocked by kills or is iap involved ( this kind of iap doesn't bother me) What level in 2 do you stop unlocking new stuff? I wanna get the coin doubler but I don't want to make it seem easy, I rather grind for my coins.
A giant furrie is frozen on the frozen plains ( zombie Santa ) map.just look around & you'll find him.
Alrighty, I have a ton of questions... I am level 46, how many levels are there? Infinity? How can i check how much exp or souls i need to hit the next level? The number not just a bar. Can you add a page that shows all challenges ones compeleted and ??? For ones not unlocked. Can you point me in the right direction for some quests? How do you complete the one that says "follow the green light"? How many nights does each level have an what is the benefit of being on a higher numbered night? What happens after you kill the final boss? Currently the game has it where once you kill him a screen pops up with something and if you are holding down on the screen you skip it > Can you add a 3 second countdown when you get back in the game? Can you please stop this rediculious holding down on the screen issue? I wait to get into the shop get in and then get kicked out because I am holding the bottom right corner of the screen... Seriously? I brought it back up to here to see if anything can be answered.
You might want to work on the phrasing of your posts mate. Until this very post I'm quoting you seemed to me like a raving, frothing at the mouth, rage filled loon hell bent on seeing the app burn to the ground, and I guess I'm not alone in having that image Posters were seeing this, and were mostly just springing to the defense of the devs, since they're actively posting in the thread, and have stated they're working on a fix. While crashing sucks, bugs like this just crop up in projects of this size. While 50MB might not seem like a lot with hard drives of multiple Terabyte out there, it's still quite a lot of code. In comparison, the SNES had a max cartridge size of 32 Megabit, which is only 4 MB, and had teams of 30 to 50 people working on them, if not more. They even had it easier in terms of hardware, since it was just one fixed machine. While there's not a lot of variation on iDevices, it's still there, with extra variation being added by all the different iOS versions out there. Not to mention the inevitable bugs which are present but maybe not visible in those iOS versions. Anyway, enough of my ranting.
