This game is buttery smooth on my 4s, with really sweet graphics and high production values. Those on the fence should jump over immediately, it's like Minigore on crack. I really love doing the challenges while leveling and farming but I figured some can only be completed on certain levels, and require you to switch between levels to complete them. Granted, some are more obvious than others (eg. Kill Monstrosity vs Kill 6 blind zombies). Could it be possible to add information as to which level the challenges can be completed?
Alright, thanks guys! See, I'm buying a 5th gen in couple of days, so I'll be buying Minigore 2 then, just wanting to see if I could play it early on my current device. I mean I still could download it from my PC, and install it when I get my new device, but you know what I mean!
Just curious: why the ipad mini got lighting that the ipad 2 didn't get as it's almost the same hardware ?
Thanks, maybe we'll call the next one Minigore 3: Methgore. I would personally like this myself, maybe it could be an indicator on the level selection if a currently active challenge can be solved on that level. It's not like you're going to run out of the 300+ challenges by us pointing you in the right direction.
[Disclaimer: The quote above does not imply anything. I used it so you could trace my thought process.] That said... Count me as one more person whose trust you have earned. Your candor, tone, and attitude in this thread are really heartening, and frankly remind me that there are human beings on the other side of the gaming "coin." [Insert painfully obvious yet pointless comment about entitlement here...] Embarrassingly enough, I'm not even overly interested in Minigore (sorry), but I'm actually tempted to buy it, if only to help guarantee that people like you keep working... Best Wishes, DBC
Good question. The hardware should be same but the performance is not. Ipad mini also have multisampling(MSAA4) support. I will run performance test again tomorrow to see what is going on. I will get back to this when I have some actual numbers.
The coin doubler doesn't seem to work. I don't anywhere that i purchased it and my money doesn't seem to grow faster :-/
It work just fine. Only bug is the lack of visualization at IAP button. You can test this easily when you kill normal zombie and you get two coins instead of one. Also every reward you get is even and not odd. Visualization bug is allready fixed in next update.
You know, this is a very important connection to make, and it's been almost impossible for developers and players to connect like this for the entire history of video games. We can all go watch a movie and understand what goes into the process; we can see the actors play their parts and know how sets are intricately constructed to create this make-believe world that is consumed in two hours but tries to stay with us for much longer. We even have an idea about how directors do their work, and about how scripts are written. With games, we can throw all that out of the window. What you see is usually the result of a completely different and occasionally arbitrary process, as rather than trying to set everything in stone we're trying to build degrees of freedom for the player to experience the whole thing *their* way. While our games have Timo's distinctive art style speaking for them, you don't generally see any people on the screen. Our games may have hundreds of thousands or even millions of fans but none of them would recognize us on the street. And really, they don't have to. This isn't about us, it's about the games we make. We're not rock stars, we're the set-makers and crew that help put *you* on the stage and let you do your thing. Thank you very much for the kind words, but really there's no need to be embarrassed about that - not everyone enjoys all of our games. So far with Minigore, Death Rally, Ice Rage and Bike Baron we've done a different kind of game each time, and very few people would enjoy them all equally. We've had enough success that guarantees we'll be working on these things for years to come, but supporting the AppStore underdogs that do something you like is always a good idea. Maybe Minigore or our other games aren't specifically for you, but perhaps you'll mention us to a friend of yours who just might like this kind of thing and a new connection is made. And we thank you for making that connection possible.
Sorry if this has been asked before... Can someone explain how leveling up the melee weapons work? I love using them (kinda wish there were more, and purchasable/upgradable in the shop like the ranged weapons) and wish I had a better idea on how they progress. Also, is there and/or will there be dual wielding melee weapons? I'm level 28 currently so maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself.
Excellent job to Mountain Sheep on this. I am enjoying this and MC4 tremendously this week. The variety has really been kicked up a notch to make sure the life of this game is much longer then the first. And I've been able to progress with cash at a very fast pace so far.
this game is THE BEST TWIN STICK SHOOTER period, its awesome you did a fantastic job! love all the variety and monsters and characters all of it you guys have really improved over the first minigore game very nice job! I have not even bought the doubler and im just getting tons of money so money is no issue in this game but i will buy the doubler to support you guys... You guys need to add more Melee weapons have like magical swords, sais, nun-chucks, BO staffs, just go all TMNT on this thing LOL....Think of like a Bastard Sword or Clouds Sword from FF7 the buster sword HUGE behemoths to wield that has longer range that would be sweet....
Couldn't agree more word for word (minus Bug Heroes still holds the crown as best DSS for me), especially adding more melee weapons in the mix. As a Ninja user, skies the limit with my imagination and melee weapons (stars, needles, and shurikens would be awesome projectiles too). As a wishlist addition, I'd love to see a color change option for costumes however it could be implemented.
In regards to the achievements, how about an in game achievement browser similar to Mage Gauntlet? That way you could display all 300 + challenges without the Game Center limitation of 100 since it would be a part of the app itself and not necessarily tied to Game Center. Maybe the ones that could double as achievements could have a mark or icon next to them. It would also be cool to have a way to view the current challenges when not playing a game. I know you can pause a game in progress to see them but if a challenge requires a certain level to complete, it would be nice to select the level first, rather than starting a game, view missions, go to shop, change levels, and start again. BTW, I'm really enjoying Minigore 2 Zombies. It looks fantastic. I don't often get games the night they come out, but the trailer and game play videos really impressed me and I just couldn't wait. I got it just minutes after it was available and before I knew it a whole hour had gone by. I took a break but I did go back and play some more. I did in fact stay up late and play Minigore.
