As the spawn rates increase as you progress in nights, the chances rise higher. Turning on hardcore mode, grinding deep into the nights, it is surely possible. I admit some of the challenges feel a bit poorly balanced. But on the other hand, they were designed with the intention to be long-lasting pleasures that we would not need to update even in the first year of play. Now the fact being that nobody looks set to clear them in the second year of play, I admit maybe we should be following their progress a little closer. If you guys feel like helping me out to give me a baseline of where our hardcore players have reached with the challenges, please do tell me what your current three challenges are. As far as I know nobody has even reached the bronze star, which does say that the balancing is verging on the sadistic. As our designers often seem to be...
I'll get our graphics wizard to take a look at that tomorrow, and we should be putting out an update soonish. With the iPad Air's massive resolution I would guess probably the dust clouds are choking up the fill-rate.
And what about trying this to fix the fill-rate fps to an acceptable level: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fire-type-yellow-mega-x/id766086517
I like the idea of Inferno Mode, but not necessarily in the Night Forest. It would be great in the Sunny Lake and Graveyard maps though. Those are really boring for an advanced player. I realize the "X" only appears on the Night Forest map, but thats only because its the same map from the original Minigore. I could see an Inferno Mode easter egg being added to all of the maps in this game, but it probably wouldn't be triggered by standing on the X like it was in the original Minigore.
Nice little update to the original Minigore released today. It has the graveyard map and zombies from Minigore 2. Awesome icon too...
"Bug fixes and gameplay enhancements" Such a massive understatement. I know it's Minigore 1 and this is the thread for 2, but this update really brings some cool new elements to the Minigore 2 scene. It gets pretty tough due to the one hit, one heart mechanic too.
It's been quite some time since we've seen an update here. Very exciting. I'm also hoping to see the Early Access Steam game Hardland hit Mac someday as well.
