I got disconnected once, the connectivity response is still low after you finish some battles but is better than before. The loot chances still been too low. Just noticed new elite equipment in the shop, and a new quest that will give you a 3 star Cavalry hero. There is still this inventory bug, all items shows as equipped (except the new ones) and if I remove one I lose the other, what I mean is, I have equipped a blue sword item but is show in the warehouse the previous green sword also equipped, then if I remove the green sword I lose the blue one. (Edit: you don't lose the item, you can still see it in the inventory and can be re equipped) I was happy with this update so I bought the 0.99 tcrystals and unlocked the quest that gave the Gold Goblet, did the refresh and surprise, my 5th 4 star hero! now if you get the 6th hero a new achievement will give you 2 blue weapons. I have so far : 5 4star heros - mage lvl 38, barbarian lvl 35, white knight lvl 33, cavalry archer lvl 38, cavalry black night w/spear lvl 20 (this is the one I got today) 8 3star heros - cavalry night w/spear lvl 38 (this one is weaker in status than two others 2 star cavalry that I have), sword knight lvl 38, spear knight lvl 36, foot archer lvl 38, I also have, but not using them, two more spear knights and another foot archer at lvl 1. 4 2star heros - sword cavalry lvl 37, sword cavalry lvl 38, morning star knight lvl 37 (I love to see this little guy running into battle) and a axe knight lvl 30 For equipments I have: 7 blue sword, 2 blue helmet, 5 blue armor and 1 blue bracelet and beside this all army equipped with green items I'm stuck in stage 80 normal and 50 Elite.
My max hero is level 32 and I'm at 71 normal and 45 Elite. I have seven 4-star heroes, so I might be slightly more powerful than you were at level 32, but you have a lot more blues and by focusing your skill upgrades on fewer guys you probably have much higher skill levels, so I dunno. Its pretty depressing to see how slow future progress will be! I feel like my biggest bottle neck is the tier 1 scroll. With so many 4 star heroes, I can gain a lot of power by upgrading skills, and I run 15ish missions to get scrolls daily, but end up with 5 or so a day. I dont farm blues. My drops are too poor. During times of the day when I have good drops, I farm scrolls, greens (still missing a couple) or mats for squad size increases (my 4-star guys are at 9, 3-stars are at 8 and will stay there). By the way, there are nice rewards for having more 4 star heroes, crystal, gold and blue weapons, so spend some of the crystal on silver refreshes.
I'm not farming for scrolls yet, only have my mage with a 6th lvl Shattered Ground skill and others heros with lvl 2 or 3 on their skills, this for the 4 and 3 stars heros. And for the squad size all my army is at 9, all 3 and 4 start heros with army lvl 70 and 2 star lvl 65
I bet your mage melts face. My mounted rifleman has level 5 Blast, does around 245 damage with good range and 50% frequency. Makes a huge difference. My mounted archer has a level 5 skill that hits all heroes, does 420ish, at 40%. Sounds great but its really midling as enemy heroes seem to have more health than mine do at these levels. The rest of my 4-star heroes have lvl 3 skills with a few 2s left. My 4-stars troops are level 59, with the 3-stars troops being 50-52. Seems like upgrading the troops doesnt get you very far at this point, as your way ahead in levels but not far ahead on the map.
sweet! just got this with my last 6 energy and for that stage 80 where I'm at the moment I think it's attached with the Mighty Army quest, reach attack power of 9300, since I get closer to that power I left the enemy with less life, something obvious I guess.
You guys are all ahead of me. I have 3 4-star heroes. Rest are all 3 star heroes, I have 17 of them... but don't use all at once I'm level 32 overall... My setup is: 3S Archer - 3S Cavalry - 3S Sword Knight - 4S Viking 4S Mage - 4S Mounted Spear - 3S Spearman 3S Archer - 3S Sword Knight - 3S Spearman My spearmen have lvl 5 skills and do about 250 damage forward... Mage has a lvl 6 skills, Mounted Spear has lvl 5 skills. Everyone else has either level 5 or less skills... The viking I just got... I'm thinking the archer (3-star) is the deadliest in terms of damage... I can do about 825 damage per cast... I'm focusing on having 9 peeps per group for the 4-stars and getting someone to lvl 10 skills... My mage has the highest attack at this point. But skill damage, the 3-star archers are killers. Edit: I have 2 blue swords, 1 blue helm and 1 blue armor. All else green except for helms...
I got 500 crystals from the update , any tips what I should spend it on? I am looking for more 4* heroes.
I quit. I only have 2 4 star heroes. Got 200 crystals from the update for a total of 291. Spent it on 2 gold goblets and the rest on silver refreshes (nearly $30 of crystals worth). Not 1 more 4 star hero. I haven't gotten any further in the game in nearly a week, because my army isn't powerful enough, and Ive farmed the blue sword and armor quests over 100 times with no drop. This is ABSURD, and a gross money grab, if this is the type of crap that happens
I'm in the same boat. I just quit too, I'm done. I received 500 crystals with the update and bought all gold cups. Out of 6 cups, I did NOT recieve any 4 star heroes, only blue 3 star guys. I also don't feel as though I've gotten much more powerful after about a week playing. About at level 32 and I'm on maps in the 60's. I keep going back to lower levels wasting time trying to get gear or scrolls. This nets you low amounts of exp/gold. Guess the 500 crystals is what did it for me. It showed me just how badly you would have wasted your money if you would have bought 500 crystals. I ended up with absolutely nothing with the free crystals.
by mana you mean tcrystals I guess, I can tell you to be patience and don't do as araziza did. I use the crystals to refill energy, 10 a day and spend 5 or 10 when you feel lucky on silver refreshes. One time I spent almost 100 crystals trying to get a 4 stars hero and only 2-3 stars showed up so I don't do that anymore. One time I received one 4 stars with a bronze refresh and the others using gold cups learned in game and with silver refresh. What I see is that to be lucky is very important here.
and now they added limited time equipment, really expensive if you ask me. If you want the weapon you will have to by the x585 tcrystals pack, only 49.99
Important point guys, some of the 3-star heroes are just as good as the 4-stars. My level 32 4-star White Knight is basically no different from my 3-star infantry with the exact same skills (BoK and the 6 second damage immunity). They are so close in stats it feels like a bug. Conversely, I have a 3-star cavalry that is roughly 75% as good as my 4-star cavalry. Although not directly comparable to the 4-star archers because of different skills, the 3-star archer I have does have excellent stats. I think if you get a 3-star archer you can safely spend on him with the understanding you'll keep him for the whole game. Same with the 3-star infantry that is comparable to the White Knight (i.e. has the 6 second damage shield skill). By contrast, as far as I can tell, 3 star cavalry (at least the Lancer type) are pretty weak and should not get heavy spending.
You have some good points there Sir. I'll be leveling my actual Heroes until lvl 40 then I will star training other heroes too, you can't win all the battles with the same army, take a look at the army you are facing, if they have a lot of cavalry use more archers and so if you are fighting an army with a lot of infantry use more cavalry, that will make easier the battle. Also I'm noticing that my army is losing more life when the enemy heros do their skill, I guess is a good time for me to start farming those green/red scrolls.
I dumped my bonus tcrystals into silver refreshes and got 3 more 4 star heroes, I even got a 4 star from a bronze refresh. I used one full bar of energy grinding squad size materials and my army is already stronger than before. I was so happy they let me level up my units using a sliding bar now. I would have had to click 120 times to get my new heroes up to speed without it. I wonder if our failures with the goblets are due to the size of the troop pools.... It seems the 4 star heroes are fixed and finite, so it's worth getting the bulk of them from silver refreshes, as they are more likely to appear when there are more in the pool. Then you can use the goblets to fish for the last few elusive heroes
Current observations: Some heroes are better for skills, others for regular attacks. Great units Mage 4-star, high DPS, med skill damage, high defense Mounted Spearman 4-star, med DPS, med skill damage, high defense Archer 3-star, med DPS, high skill damage, med defense Good units Viking 4-star, med DPS, med skill damage, med defense Swordsman 3-star, low DPS, high survivability, high defense Average units Spearman 3-star, low DPS, med skill damage, low defense Weak units Mounted Spearman 3-star, low DPS, low skill damage, low defense ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Skills can make a huge difference, raise these ASAP. (not sure if these factor into army strength) Unit lvl > # of units (due to enemies hitting with AOE) Hero selection makes a big difference, experiment!
