This part got my attention: This early demo only featured single-player races against the AI, but Binary Mill has promised that the final release, due out before the end of the year, will feature local 4-player multiplayer over Bluetooth, and online races via Wi Fi. iPhone 4S or iPad 2 owners will also be able to utilize AirPlay to display the action on their TV. iCloud support is also in the cards, meaning all racing stats and progress can be shared seamlessly between devices.
Mini Motor Racing and Mini Motor Racing HD submitted to Apple for approval! Hey guys - big news today from The Binary Mill...Mini Motor Racing and Mini Motor Racing HD have been submitted to Apple for approval! It's been a long time in the making, and we hope you all enjoy the game as much as we've had making it Any q's, please feel free to post! - Ingmar
Sweet!!! Game looks amazing. Just to be certain though, but it is online multiplayer, not just local, correct? Either way can't wait to get my hands on this game!
It is local multiplayer only at this stage (Bluetooth 2-player, Wifi up to 4), but online is something we're looking into. We've built our networking code to support it as it's something we did want to do. Odds are it'll be patched in later, but we figured we had to get this game out the door already!
Glad to see it coming out finally. Glad to see though that multiplayer will at least come later on. Looks great, and can't wait to play it!
I agree that this looks great and I will be anticipating its release. By the latest art/screens it will make a good companion to Reckless Racing. I like that you are also looking for way to make it multiplayer beyond local. -
Oh man! I hope this comes out on Wed night.... Actually no I don't, because if this and Infinity blade 2 are out on the same night, my head will explode!!
whoooa nice we like don't hear anything for over a month and then you come and tell us it's waiting for approval awesome didn't expect it to get released until after 2011
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! As far as we know, we won't be launching with Infinity Blade 2 - that title deserves some space We're in talks with Apple for a release next week...not long now! - Ingmar
We've got four control schemes, with left and right variations. These are Wheel, Analogue Slider, Directional Buttons and Tank mode
