Mario kart 7,really?Got to play that yesterday and wasn't impressed. It also helps that i don't like kart games, don't like mario, and that because of my visual handicap i won't be able to see any 3D. I agree that a handheld console is superior in controls to an iphone ,but is that really a point for discussion here? Mini motor racing is really dragging me in and won't let me go. A truly awesome game, the best racing game in terms of fun on ios imo. It's got that vague nostalgic 80's touch all around while the gameplay is superb. I just can't stop playing.Awesome.
Any news on the update? I can't progress any further at this point without being able to place on that one track. Anyone else gotten to this point yet?
Best Racing title yet **** Would really love to see fantasy tracks with waterfalls, lava, caves, multiple routes, etc... This is basically a top down MOTORSTORM and it would be cool to have more elements of that game brought to this one. Just saying. Mini Motor Racing -------------of all the new titles out, I've played this one the most. Absolutely brilliant!!! IB2 BO:Zombies Zen Pinball Six Guns Tiny Towers
I'd rather just have the bugs fixed for now. More content later on would be welcomed but not being able to get past a certain point in the game is really aggrevating, expecially since this is such a great game otherwise.
I haven't played far enough to encounter any game breaking bugs but the AI is messed up on some tracks (pier). They get stuck. Does the dev visit this forum?
Ditto, they don't sync with each other apparently... which makes me wonder why mention iCloud in the description. Heck, and AirPlay for that matter. If you mention AirPlay mirroring, your game should run at full 720p, don't just remind us of a stock feature that works with any app. In other news, I found a HUGE shortcut. Does this game have leader boards for lap times??
Progress is not being saved in career mode Is anyone else experience unsaved progress in career mode? Every time I close mini motor racing app and re-open the game my progress in career is not saved, so I have to start over again each time and all of my money and car upgrades are lost. Also, after I complete about 7 races if I press continue the game crashes and like i said before my progress is not saved. So there are two bugs that I am experiencing but the latter creates my original problem.
I'm seeing this on the iphone almost every time. I'm still on $0 on the first track despite how many times I play. On the ipad, I think my progress has been lost just once or twice. Despite the bugs that have already been mentioned, and the slight shortcomings (eg sync between phone/ipad, inability to zoom out a bit), I'm still really impressed with this game - hopefully all this talk won't deter people from buying it. It sounds like the dev is on the case with fixing things
I'm experiencing constant crashes on iPod Touch 4G. After a level it crashes so it doesn't save the game I've beaten. Had same problem before, then shut down iPod and restarted, but now it happened again. Haven't restarted again, but I don't want to do this between every 4 levels, so hope you see this.
on an iphone 4s and there's no bugs for me yet. Problems I've encountered though. 1. Cars getting stuck 2. After jumping into a wall, my car will just sit there on its side for 10 seconds 3. Around the Driveshaft Cup, the boost becomes a weapon for AI I'm very grateful for such quality at the price, but after playing so many races, the tracks become dull. Longer tracks would be appreciated in the future.
Hope this is a way to contact you binary mill. But your game sucks. So much lagg and bugs in the game. You need to fix it. After every race it boots me to my iPod home screen. Then I open the app again and I don't get the money I win. Fix it or I want me 1.99 back and my 99cents back from in-app purchase. Please contact me on here or email please. Email: [email protected]
1. This happens alot the further you get in the game. My feeling is they must not have beta tested the later tracks as much as the earlier ones. 2. Yeah in the early tracks this isn't a problem but later on its a huge problem. Theres one track where you cannot help but to land on the track wall and then it shoots you back once it respawns so you get to try it all over again only to fail and the process repeats itself. Its hard to put down 6+ perfect laps to get past that track. 3. The boost is very much a weapon later in the game, its not bad though, it adds to the thrill. Imo longer tracks aren't needed as you progress they raise the number of laps, some races are 11+ laps. Also i feel they do a great job of mixing it up so to me the same track never feels familiar.
This works both ways. I can't tell you how many times this strategy has bought me first place when my car needs upgrades to keep up with the leader and I'm still saving cash for the upgrades I need.
Don't worry, I'm sure they've seen one of the 15+ posts addressing the issue It's not even close to being as annoying as Motorstorm though. Actually... I don't see why it's at all like Motorstorm, but at least it doesn't have the same dreadful rubberband AI and supposedly random elements that force you to crash on the 8th lap without fail, having been in first place the entire race, only to find yourself dead last with about 10 seconds to regain the lead. Apologies to The Binary Mill, but I don't like the game that much
Its one of those games you'd have to be into rc racing to really appreciate. I've played several rc simulators that didn't have nearly the action this game does. It takes micro racing to a hole nother level. For every detractor theres a fan like myself who thinks its quite possibly the most fun i've ever had playing a video game on any platform.
I really like this game but I think it could be even better with more power-ups and if the bugs were removed(I know you're working on it)
this looks very good, i think i might take a chance & pick this up. how's multiplayer? any trouble finding a race?
Trust me. Don't turn this into Death Rally. No Weapons. *******I'm sure of it. Adding longer/wider tracks (5x-10x current size) accompanied by crazy themes with waterfalls on high cliffs that you splash through, spiral- turns, sticky mud, huge jumps, rivers and tunnels, destructible environments and best of all, did I mention wider tracks (solves the stuck on wall problem). Don't make it the core gameplay, maybe just a cross country cup. Theme suggestions------------------------- 1. Moon (low gravity of course) 2. Volcano (interactive traps and lava spills) 3. Brazilian death road (high cliffs, waterfalls) 4. San Fransisco (hills, jumps and madness) 5. India (beaches, scenery, cool music) 6. War Zone (explosions and chaos while racing through the desert) 7. Niagara Falls (Race up the hill to eventually jump Niagara Falls) Wish I worked for this developer. I know this strategy would work for the later races in the game.
So basically you want a console experience MMR stutters enough without throwing 10x as many textures in and calculating physics on destructable terrain. Oh, and with flowing/falling water to boot!
This needs to stop, it's extraordinarily dull for the rest of us. Back to the game, I am having some stutter issues the further I get plus some odd achievement problems. All of this seems to be in hand with the devs so no biggie. Other than that I am amazed at how triple A the game plays. It's like something you would download from PSN or XBLA. I would hope in the future (after bug fixes) we can get some cars with really loose handling. I really want to slide round those bends.
