I think his point was just as valid. If I might point something out, you said "which means to get them quick you'll have to..." The same rule applies to console games. There are "unlock everything" packs on PSN and Live which people can purchase if they decide they don't actually want to play the game they just bought and would rather cheat their way to unlocking everything. I don't see why anyone would want to spoil the experience for themselves in the first place. Without unlockables there's nothing to aim for, no grand reward driving your towards your goal. If you wanna kill the fun and obtain everything from the moment you start, then with all due respect (and while acknowledging people can play the game in any way they want to) I'm glad it's gonna cost you. Shortcuts aren't free buddy, if you can't earn your success you'll have to buy it. God forbid you might be helping out the people who brought you this fine game in the process!

Gotta say the christmas tracks are awesome. The fruit ninja tracks are cool but hard to keep track of due to all the bright colors. The most annoying track is the ruins, but its not annoying to the point i don't want to play it, its just very tight and if you don't get a good start you find yourself being pestered by the other racers. Nothing is more annoying than one of them getting behind you coming into a curve and then they hit the nitro boost to send you flying into the wall. However i do find it hilarious when they hit their nitro just before a curve and smash themselves into the wall, haha!
Is anyone else having this crash quite often after finishing a track and pressing continue? I'm using an iPod 4G iOS 5.0.1
No issues here to speak of. I think they said they are going to release an update here shortly to address crashing issues others might be having.
Oh that's ok then. Just didn't know if it was my iPod or the game. I've had IB2, this and home sheep home 2 all crashing on me in the last week. I can put up with this crashing for now just because it's such an amazing game.
I have found a few bugs. On one of the tracks there seems to be a dead spot, its like hitting a brick wall you just stop. Also the AI seems to be pretty dumb in most cases with the exception of your immediate competition. I've been finding cars getting stuck on tracks on the first lap and i keep passing them over and over until the end of the race. Sometimes i feel bad and will give them a nudge, but they usually pay me back by hitting their nitro into me as i round the next corner :/
Achievements don't seem to be working quite right either... I've played about 5 tracks so far, but I already have the achievement for 'Earned gold in ever cup throughout the career mode'. Yet I don't have 'Finish first in any track', even though I've finished first of the 5 tracks I've played so far.
I've had this problem. Same device and OS... kept crashing after hitting continue after completing last race of first set. Hard reset this afternoon allowed me to finally get past it, but there's still some instability
Yeah I mentioned the crashing early on in the topic. Rebooting the device and killing all other apps helps for a while, but eventually it'll crash again. They're looking into it
So to people who have this app... is it better than Reckless Racing? I've been a big fan of RR, so making the switch to MMR will be no problem. But I just want to see your opinions.
Not better, but along the same level with more emphasis on your racing line and ability to keep your momentum coming out of a hairpin. AI in RR is much better.
Got the same problem! Playing the HD version on an ipad2. Can anyone confirm if its an ipad only bug or does iphone players have the same problem?
My achievements look to be the same. (I never look at them anyway so had to actually check) but I've got the one for getting all gold too. And I've not finished all the races yet.
I got the achievement for coming in first, but I also have only finished 6 tracks, and got the gold for every cup achievement, which obviously I shouldn't have yet. I'm on the iPhone version...
It happened to me too, I just didn't care enough to mention it If I'd been denied an achievement maybe I'd have said something, but being given one for free is fine by me.
Not even close to being on the same level. I can't stand reckless racing. But i adore this game. I can play this game for hours on end, reckless racing i keep downloading and deleting a few days later once i'm bored with it. This game will stay on my device for quite some time to come.
