I think the devs have the right idea with laying low right now until the update drops on iTunes. The level of emotional posts over a game that costs less than 5 dollars is honestly melodramatic at best. Theres no real way to address posts like that until the update lands and everyone is in love again.
LOL the funny thing is it's the same guy that couldn't stop posting about how much he loved the game. I think the game is pretty awesome and it deserves a much higher score. Ya it's got some bugs, but the developers even came on here to let people know they are aware of the bugs and already have a fix to address all the issues mentioned in this thread. what more could you ask for? just have some patience for the update. It's coming.
I hate people who instead of reviewing games content, rate it based on a bug or it crashing... It throws off reviews and scores... I think apple need a new option to post without a rating in the condition of this matter.... It's like rating final fantasy9 bad because who got a corrupted file... Just let them fix it and stop complaing there aware if the problem and have or are trying to fix it.... Just calm down and wait. Reminds me of NFL fans they love their team when their doing good but when they're loosing they hate them... I'm sure once they get it fixed all the haters will jump back on board with the rest of the people who waited patiently and was thankful that they could play atleast a little bit of the game and new that the devz were working hard to fix it( its not like they're ignoring it the guy was even in here posting about it) it just probly took a liitle bit more work so hold on jeez....

Well it's all looking to be working fine so far. I haven't had any crashes yet. Now to save up and buy that new car.
Cliffs. Seems like my car is still the only one with the ability to gO through the track after a jump and still gets all jumpy on the way up the curved hill on the left. This is my first 6 races on the same map since I couldn't win for falling through track. I don't even wanna try desert. I guess I'll wait for another update.
Oh boy. Why on earth is the screen orientation on the iPad now locked to the "power button/speaker on the left" position? It was working just fine the opposite way per-patch and now I can't play this game comfortably any more. Dev? Please tell me it's something that crept in unintentionally and will be fixed?
Wow well I spoke to soon. It's crashed a couple of times after races. And there's some problems with this track. The AI Get stuck on the corner nearly every lap and my car is going through the track and having to respawn.
Thanks for the update. The 4x4 is pretty sweet. I've been literally driving on top of other cars. Plus it's also very strong so the mean AI can't easily ram me off the road. Awesome!
Haha, I mentioned this the other day. I loved the original orientation, but apparently they had received a large number of requests (from crazy people, clearly) for it to be flipped. At the moment you have no choice but to live with it, but there is going to be an orientation toggle in a future patch hopefully not too far off. They changed and locked the orientation intentionally? That's simply unbelievable to tell you the truth. Make it adjustable by all means, but to actually spend time working on something only to swap the happy/unhappy people around is a little insane. Wow. Dev, some official word on what exactly is going on please, or I'm about to change my review/rating, not only because I can no longer play the game comfortably, but because unless there is a better explanation the reason I can't is frankly asinine.
Upgraded to 1.1 and still having problems with saving, in that it's not. Very, very frustrating. Am I the only one with this issue? I'm not just going to keep starting the game over and over and over every time I want to play. The game is fun! But I can't recommend it if this issue continues...
JTBentley (second linked post) seems to be the Technical Director of The Binary Mill, so that's about as official as it gets? I though the current patch was pushed out quickly to fix some of the more major bugs in the game rather than to do any significant tinkering and content updates - I know nothing about making games so I don't know how much more work it would have taken to include the toggle option. I assume the reason it was changed at all is because the people that complained make up a very vocal minority, as is often the case, while the rest of the people (majority) that were enjoying the current orientation had no need to comment on it. I suppose because of this it may have seemed like more people preferred the other orientation. I haven't updated yet so I can't argue either way how much the new orientation affects the game, but we've already been told both orientations will be selectable in the future so changing your review/score seems a bit extreme.
