Yeah, I have done all of those things several times, re-installed, checked all the diagnostics, etc. Nothing works. All three of the games I bought today will not play properly, and many games I've had previously won't play anymore without serious crashing and data loss. Updating to iOS 5 broke my device, apparently.
Try playing offline, maybe? I've started using airplane mode just to make sure Game Center isn't doing anything and causing it to crash.
Yeah, I am pretty upset that Apple puts out such terrible software updates at times. Very frustrating. Ugh...whatever...just blowing off steam. Hopefully Apple will put something new out soon that isn't so crap for us iPod Touch users, and if not hopefully the developers will continue to update to fix these issues. Honestly though, I am starting to wonder why Apple bothers to release products like the iPod Touch if they won't properly support them with stable software. I mean, it's for money, obviously, but still. Pretty terrible.
Dear dev, I'm currently at the Turbo Cup and it's impossible to beat the Grad Prix track due to imprecise steering with the wheel. I have tried the other steering options and they simply aren't as good and too sensitive. So just like another member have fanatically proclaimed here; I'm stuck! I hope the imminent update will fix that. Thanks
Use the tank controls. I tried all the other controls and had no luck until another member suggested the tank controls. Figures the one control scheme i didn't try was good enough to get me there. Thats the only race i don't have a gold cup on, but i was able to get a silver cup pretty easily. I'll revisit it once the update is out. Hoping to get the update sometime today, i keep checking the app store every half hour or so, heh. The game does get much harder the further you get. It starts off easy and if you do regular upgrades its manageable but once you get into the meat of the game its very challenging and many tracks take me 2-3 times or more before i can get a gold cup. Some levels its just a matter of boosting off the line to get to the first corner without traffic and let the other racers battle and get stuck on each other. Other times it just seems like my car is just not fast enough to keep up. Then the occasional glitch here and there really gets the heart pumping when you are trying to hold onto the lead on a final lap. All in all its been great, i just wish some of the bugs were worked out before release but i would rather have the bugs and play it than have to have waited another week or 2 for them to have been worked out. I can't wait for the 4x4, although at this point that means building its stats up so i can use it on the current races. I just wish there was some way of starting the game over with a new vehicle while maintaining my current vehicle. I guess i could buy some credits to force the issue, but i'd rather earn the money by winning races instead. I just feel if i use money on the current races to upgrade other vehicles i'll fall too far behind on my main vehicle to keep up. It seems theres a very fine line with being able to compete and being totally blown away by your competition. I've had 1 stat point mean the difference of being lapped by the leader vs 1st place. To me that seems abit overkill, but thats my opinion. I am getting to the point where i dread some tracks now mainly due to the glitchyness of them, i know its going to cause frustration when i play them, so i will play around them and just play them last. There are quite a few things i can think of that would make this game even better, but as it stands its still very entertaining. I can't wait for the sequel
Now that would make a top game... Draw race 2 where u actually drive the cars..... C'mon draw race devs.... You know you wanna make it
You won't lose the upgrades on your current vehicle if you change to another one. You can start again from the start of the career with a new vehicle and earn your upgrades again, there's no punishment in place for that. The difference being that all the races are already unlocked for you We're looking into it for the next update! Thanks for the feedback and suggestions guys, we're definitely taking it all onboard.
Yes but i've already got gold cups on all the tracks up until where i'm at now. So if i go back and play the tracks with another vehicle i'm not actually doing anything, do you know what i'm saying? It would be nice to be able to start another career while keeping in tact the upgrades and vehicles i've earned so far.
Once you upgrade a vehicle, it stays that way. If you change to another car and begin upgrading it, it's independent of the other vehicles. Is that what you mean or have I misunderstood?
No what i meant is like starting another career simultaneously. Like a slot 2 & 3, so you can have several careers going at once. Not a big deal.
This is an awesome game so far... but it keeps on crashing after I finish the first race. On the loading screen. So I don't get my virtual greenbacks and all.
I think what he's trying to say is he wants to start over with the new vehicle so there's actually a purpose to play. but at the same time he wants to keep his upgraded car and progress in a seperate save slot.
